New league structure agreed

So they`ve agreed to merge the SPL and SFL to form one body.....which is what we had 14 years ago.

Fourteen years to finally admit the SPL experiment has been an utter waste of time and has contributed enormously to the decline in the standard of our football. It was a system set up to further empower two clubs, who were already the most wealthy and powerful in the land, to the detriment of the rest. They were to prosper and grow......our sole purpose seemed to be to help them do it. They wilfully and deliberately removed our ability to compete. Through their sheer greed and with the support of compliant chairmen, directors and the SFA and SPL leaders they eliminated all competitiveness from the game and hoovered up most of the cash. They had the sheer affrontry to cry about the league not being strong enough to prepare them for Europe, while all the time they were making it that way......and making sure, through the voting system, that it stayed that way.

The sad thing is that, unless the chairmen and directors of the new leagues 40 other clubs stand up to the pressure from the OF bigots to change the voting system, restructure the payments from TV and sponsorship to make it fair and, IMO, restore the reserve league......we will be back here again. We cannot allow two clubs who dont even want to play here to dictate how the game is run.....but they will, unless our clubs are united.
 
I read something yesterday which was saying that if the league restructure goes ahead for next season then Hunco would definately be staying in the bottom tier.

Told this to one of them yesterday and his arguement was that they were promoted from the bottom tier and deserve to be in the 2nd bottom and completely refused to accept the fact that finishing 1st would would leave them as the 10th bottom (11th if you swap their place with a relegated team) in the league system.

They could vote for voting restructuring NOW, but them Sheep fuds are fucking it up.

At the end of the day, restructuring wont amount to a hill o` beans if the non OF clubs cant stand together. They just refuse to see that. :banger:

Fuck them. The way it's going I can see me sometime in the future abandoning spending my hard earned on this shite which is Scottish Football. I won't be the only one by a long shot either. It is going to happen, crowds will dwindle away again and clubs will be surviving on the bread line with shite for talent on the park and the game will be far worse than it is just now.

Sad but very true... :sad

The people at the top of our clubs and our game are meant to have foresight, are they not? Why on earth can they not register what is crystal fuckin clear to the rank & file???

To be honest, I cant see there being any crowds for the middle and bottom 8's to speak of. Only the top 8 are actually playing for anything realistic. The rest are going to be treading water, playing in meaningless games that are not sure to attract even reasonable sized crowds mate.

I read a major rant on my Skysports app earlier, was that Traynor? Going on about how Rangers MUST be central to any league reconstruction talks, and pretty much just attacking the governing bodies.

Must be tough being a Hunco follower, couldn't imagine how I'd feel if I was being punished for my crimes..... Fuckin idiots.

We`re all aware how much the current leadership aren`t fit for purpose but Traynor has had an agenda against the SFA for as long as i can remember. The fat hun is now free from the constraints of mainstream media and can now attack them, the SPL and anything else he now perceives to be anti-zombie with unbridled gusto. I expect his slavering to become even more hunnish, spiteful and paranoid as time goes on.
