In interview post match he said about three times, "We should be coming here and winning" Not try to win, or push for a win...but simply "to win". Now I understand Hibs usually need more of a fight about them and a wimmers attitude, like Hearts have done in the past (today was a great start to that) But for Neilson to claim that they come here not only expecting to win but almost as if they have some kind of right to win is arrogance at it's highest level.

I don't think it's arrogance, I think it's a winning mentality. We should be thinking the same.

Robbie Neilson can get tae fuck and take his shite haircut & his mangled nose with him.

Na I would find it disrespectful if I was AS for someone to think all they have to do is show up

He did the same after the Rangers game last week when he said, twice, that "the championship's won", to dismiss the defeat. That team'll get found out in the Premiership next year. Their record against Hibs and Rangers this season is mediocre at best. I think they done very well to get their players in early and to be really fit during the season. I also think, though, that some of the other teams in the league shat it big time from playing them after they had gained a bit of an advantage at the top of the league.

Fuckin smelly tramp

Good point, well made.

His interview on the radio was embarrassing - just a wee dafty snivelling about the injustice of it all.

The Gunts were rotten, and a five goal drubbing wouldn't have been out of place.

Hope yoou enjoy the post-derby party Guntoids.

It's not 'Arrogance', it's just the typical Jambo-obsession of 'All And Everything Hibs' - along with their never-ending need to have a dig at us !!. Even when they're interviewed about games not involving us, Hibs get mentioned. They'll get worse when 'Playing within their means' eventually starts to have an effect on them and the derbies start showing an upward trend in our favour !!

Good post Dr Shrink

*giggle*

Incidentally, on the train back to Inverness the night there were two gunts from that city in my carriage. I had my tablet and headphones on but in a quiet moment i managed to catch one of them giving it a chorus of "No Pope of Rome".

Fucking scum.

How anyone could make out what the mumbling fuckwit was saying is beyond me. He looked like somebody had stole his sweeties.
I hope to see him react like that every time his team gets leathered off us

was going to start similar thread myself, heard it on the wireless box in the car on the way home, was intrigued at his thought process.
Didn't even mention the game, all he was interested in saying was the championship was over, they should be coming to ER to win, they should win, they should always win, blah, blah, no mention of the game, tactics or anything,
contrast to Stubbsy's interview, spoke openly and eloquently about the game, how it went, how he felt, how he thought his players played etc, he even mentioned Nielson and "them" and how their game plan had to change.
great interview and well said.

what a kn0b! Nielson, no Stubbsy

knobhead Neilson says in the paper that Hibs were "just ok" and they "let us win"...
Rather bitter gunt fud.... They had no choice, because they couldn't stop us winning!!! cos as proved over the 4 derbies, we are the better side

Did that classless fud REALLY say they let us win?

Yep, in the context of "we were so poor we let Hibs win"
No credit whatsoever to Hibs, in fact very dismissive of us.
A true classless gunt, obviously drip fed from Harry Potter

This is is a slightly worrying photo

What is Allan's contract-situation ?. As his after-match comments show, Neilson's just as bitter'n twisted as every other 'Charity Thief' and if we don't get promoted, he'd love the chance to get one over on us !!

I can understand a club showing a 'winners mentality'. Being confident in themselves and their abilities as a team. We all want Hibs to display this attitude. There is also, however, a need to be dignified, honest, contrite and yes....classy. Absolutely none of these attributes have been shown by Hearts coaches and players this season. To show such disdain and disrespect for their opponents....and this isn`t the first time, far from it....has shown them up for what they are because it`s exactly this attitude that the huns have. They are mini huns in every way.

To come away with such contemptuous pish as "we`ve already won the league...we didn`t really try...we let Hibs win" is clearly coming from Potter. As far as contemptible, arrogant, odious cocksockets go....Neilson is being trained by the master.

Sadly the vast majority of Gunts have adopted this nasty odious approach to 'rivalry'.
It's not that many years ago (to me anyway, a fcukin lifetime to you youngsters) that me and a few other Hibs guys would meet up at the Royal Ettrick Hotel with a bunch of Gunts after the derby at the PBS. Irrespective of the result we would sink a few and the losers (usually us) would take a bit of a slagging.
Nowadays the nastiness, primarily from the mutants, is such that I'd be more inclined to punch the fcukers in the face rather than laugh off the 'banter'.
Now it may be that I'm just a grumpy fucker, but then again I always have been.
I really think that the Gunts have gone from being 'deadly rivals' (which was OK really) to being simple mutants, changed into mini versions of the Huns complete with the fantastic imaginings of greatness and complete inability to detect self fuckwittery. I can genuinely only think of two Gunts who I regard as fans rather than fannies, and I have just as much dislike of the Gorgie Gonads as I do of the Orcs, although it's hard to be certain because in each case the needle on my IHATETHESEFUCKERSOMETER goes right off the scale.

The greasy tramp currently reading out Potter's faxes is quite obviously yet another self important no-mark who judges his worth against Hibs. I don't know why it's so important to these dafties.
There are plenty folk I hold in low regard (as the Gunts obviously hold us) but I don't see a constant need to be comparing myself with them. If the Gunts truly saw us as being beneath their notice then........ well...... they wouldn't have to keep mentioning us Shirley?

Sad wee nobodies.

On a semi-similar note, I can remember my Dad taking me and my wee brother to the Orwell Lodge Hotel before derbies at the PBS, where it was initially a fairly even mix of Hibs fans and scumbos, a decent atmosphere and minimal nastiness. Over the years the number of hibbies attending got less and less until it was just us, which culminated around the Gordon Hunter derby where we got dogs abuse on the way back to the car after the game and never returned. They don't like it up 'em! :gunts:

Memory could be sketchy as I was just a wee laddie but can definitely remember going there regularly with Hibs hats, scarves etc and my old man would meet up with some mates and there was never any bother (that I can mind!)

aye am no doubtin you am sure that would be the case,it didnae happen aw the time but it happened enough times as that establishment defo had a few wide-o's in it

100%. Potter is pulling the strings over there, I know this for a fact - one of my pals sons plays for them, and even in contract negotiations Neilson was sitting there saying feck all whilst Potter chipped in. The talk that he is named as 'director of football' so to protect his money from the SFA I'm no sure about - but he's def the one in charge.

f@nny of the highest order.

When I was a bairn I used to go to the Orwell with an uncle pre derby at their shithole. Always mind a healthy amount of Hibbies peeving. Never mind of any trouble. Roughly 1982 - 1986. Like you Hibee Kev I was always completely decked in green and white! top tae toe :giggle
