I am clearing out my wee spare room which has turned into a bit of a glory hole, in order to take a lodger for a while.
There are zillions of old CDs and DVDs in there that I am just wanting to get rid of - has anyone tried these sites, or suggest others? I would just take them to the charity shop, but money is tight this year at Casa Aggie, so want to try and squeeze anything I can out of my stuff.

Did music magpie. Easy to use I. That you scan the barcodes on the cds/dvds, but be prepared to get SFA for them. If you have backed up all of them digitally and are happy to get about 5p a cd then go for it

Binned all of mine as it wasn't worth the hassle for the pittance they give you

You should start charging for use of the glory hole mate :sm113::102:

Used MusicMagpie. Got about 60 quid for entire DVD collection (~200 DVDs) when I moved down south. So aye, a pittance and heartbreaking in a way but they’d be going to the tip otherwise, or possibly charity shop if they’d have them. They cover the courier and everything so it’s relatively painless.

If you’ve got anything remotely rare I’d use Discogs.
