Sad to report the death of Maud McFarlane yesterday.
Another Hibby lost this week.

n-c heard this yesterday & was surprised there was not a thread on here about it & i was starting to doubt it was true but sadly it is shes as much a legend as any player that wore the green & white

she was a rarity in the era that it was not a girly thing to follow football but she was there through thick & thin following her hibee boys RIPmaude a hibee legend

Have lots of great memories of Maud - travelling with her and in the Supporters Club too. The one that will stay with me forever is the fact that she gave me my new short name (chez) and it has stuck with me and will till my dying day.

Sad to hear the news was a member of the old carlton branch and she was a convener this was throughout the80's and early 90's . She also sold me a hibs scratchcard which i won 100 bucks (was only 14 at the time) and she advised me how to get the cash thanks again maude RIP and my condolences go out to her family and the hibees family a sad loss to us all

I had see her a few times when I attended the hospitality, but never had the pleasure of meet her, she was a legend.

Hope the club mark her passing in the programme in some way
