Left the capital to drive back down today about 5 Strong winds and rain all the way home all the way home but not as bad as TV would have you believe.
Blowing a gale down here now but it's dry.
Think it'll blow itself out overnight. 🤞

It's windy out there for sure, and it will definitely have an affect on the game.
However I doubt they are going to call the game off now for that.
 
I see the game is on Sky. I wonder if this has also influenced the decision for it to go ahead?

Still, I would not be too keen on sitting in the 'gazebo on scaffolding' media centre we have for their pundits in the north west corner on a day like this...!

That is luxury compared to the open scaffolding on the terracing , that Archie McPherson had to use
 
Think those on the bench will need to make an impact when they come on. As said on a previous post some long ranch shots and a few Boruc fumbles with the weather.
 
Would be interesting to see Alex Williams get some match time.
Has he played in the first team since he signed ?

On another subject, looks like it's Chaiwa and Mulligan together again in midfield, something that has consistently failed since the season started.
Tactics and set-ups are not really my thing, but from i've seen so far this season, this pair can't play effectively together.
Also, will Klidge be stuck out on the left again ?

It's a brave starting line-up, but the manager has been so hampered by injuries to key players he probably feels it's his only option.
I fear it's too open against a team with better players than us, but let's see.
Don't lose early goals.

Really think we should look to switch Klidje and Boyle. Not convinced Klidje can do the hard work on his left side.
Mulligan Chaiwa still an issue in the middle for me too.

Replaced by Newell...

Wonder if that means we'll get Klidje on the right, McGrath on the left and Mulligan step forward? Newell and Chaiwa the midfield pair.

Imo Newell is the most suited midfielder in the system at the moment.
