On Twitter, a recording of him forcing sex with his burd. Batters her tae. Fuckin disgusting.

So if he gets kicked out, does that mean united are looking for a new striker and lose interest in McGinn

Horrible. Don't think I've came across a recording that's made me feel as angry/disgusted as that.

How many times does it have to happen before you expect it and decide to record the conversation.

Sickening.

Also if I was a man united fan you might wanna wonder about the culture at the club given giggs, Ronaldo and greenwood's antics

Im not sure Manchester has anything to do with 2 rapists Joe
Would be pushing it to claim the club is at fault. The guy is from Bradford anyway
There is a whole lot of issues behind all this like attitudes to woman domestic violence, immaturity in development of young guys in particular.
I have witnessed many things in my life, much while it is frowned upon was not generally tackled iin the community.

Attitudes have changed big time in a short space of time, or people now have the courage to speak out. Police are also forced to take things seriously now whereas in the past it was just too much hassle and left as a domestic.

There is also the fact that many kids are raised witnessing horrendous things or being subject to abuse or ending up on drugs or alcohol etc etc none of which excuse that type of act but simply sitting on a high horse while never looking beyond the act will see us in exactly the same place year after year.

I haven't watched the video and have no real desire to. Had it been text messages alone that could be construed in many ways..we all from time to time say things we dont mean seriously but this seems to have gone beyond that.

The father of the girl says they have known him for years and it does look like she has come to accept his behaviour or maybe she still does just care for him because maybe he is a great guy 95% of the time

I'm rambling now and have no real answers, and this is prob only thing I'll say because I dont know the guy or the girl and whether he gets a jail sentence or not, it looks like he could lose his career, friends and have this stigma over him for years..no one can say there will be no punishment one way or another.

Meanwhile I hope he does seek to understand and address his behaviour

A very rational post mate. Sadly I can't do that. Fuck him. You're right, the money and fame clearly give a sense of entitlement and maybe the thought that they are above the law. No matter what, he's an adult and knows right from wrong. I hope the bastard is jailed.

No way is he riding this out.
The Police have been given a great evidence package. Not perfect but far better than normal.
Biggest issue with domestic abuse is that there is generally no such evidence.
The prosecution probably won't even need the victim to give evidence against him in this case to get a conviction.
The story is concentrated on his celebrity but the real story is that mens aggressive and violent sexualised behaviour towards women is worse than ever in many parts of society. Everything just seems to be so excessive and distorted.

But has it become worse? Or is it just that media and empowering people to talk out is just highlighting what was already a societal problem? And this I mean in every society throughout the world

Not something I will disagree with you about. But beyond this case there are far deeper issues which sadly jail won't solve (ps I am not a bleeding heart liberal, but neither do I think there is one solution fits all, or two types of people, good and bad.)

Just looking at one reason, I think young mens sexual expectations have been distorted by online porn. When I was a young guy late 70's, early 80's you saw soft porn scud books but no much else unless you saw it on television. Now young guys will be consuming tons of online hard movie porn in their teens at the click of a button and that will distort and set their expectations of what they should expect from young women they have sexual relationships with. That is only one reason why the situation has become worse but it's an obvious one.
