Manchester United versus Lyon

Anyone know what the crowd was? Cant believe they thought this was a showpiece.. maybe for a few but cannot see it being much off a crowd

Was at Liverpool Napoli game at an I think 60K crowd at Murrayfield a couple of years ago. There was zero atmosphere.

I was looking at the lineups and saying 'who, who who?' I must admit I haven't really paid much attention of Man U since the days of Cantona and Giggs but still.

A few folk I know who don't really support any team are going just because it's Man United.
They were worried they weren't going to be playing any of their big names.
As we know, Man U are also playing several matches in the States including one at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey which holds 80,000.

Was around the area at lunchtime and saw plenty families with kids going. Just another example of football corporation becoming like harem globe trotters. Travel around to make more money and increase fan base

According Footyinfo, 47.870. £40.00 for an adult ticket upwards, ridiculous.

As folk have mentioned there would have been a gazillion rugrats at the game.
Maybe some of them will want their parents to take them to a game in Edinburgh and given the pink lot have sold all their tickets they might rock up at Easter Road and stick around for the next 60 years.

Took my laddie, a fair crowd but zero atmosphere and one of the worst games of football I've seen in a long time. I wouldn't rush back to any of these type games again. My laddie wanted to see Man U play but as moathibby says it was 'who, who? when reading the line ups, overall pretty disappointing. 10 player changes at half time including Fish, Fred coming on for the 2nd. We left after 75mins as 1 - it was a crap game, 2 we wanted to beat the rush for trams

Good on you for taking your laddie and I hope, at least, he liked the spectacle.
