What ever we thought before its gone into hyper drive.

Nothing and nowhere else in the UK matters.

It's happening now, money, jobs, it's a vacuum sucking in everything, nothing and nowhere else matters. Without it the UK is goosed.

30 years ago a commute from Bristol was strange, I knew one, now it hardly raises an eyebrow.

Who cares?

So long as London is working ...

Been saying for ages that that is the case...imagine the rest of England having to survive without Scotland's money....
We only have 5million to look after, how many in England outside London that will be fighting for survival???
No wonder they are desperate for us to stay, our money goes a long way to help keep London abuse the rest of the UK

london is big due to economics not policy. It's a world city and is very different from the rest of the UK.
generally, people will commute around 2 hours to work here and take advantage of cheaper housing elsewhere. This is more feasible due to the rise of home working and the internet which should spread prosperity further but strangely people have been moving out less not more causing big problems with availability of family housing and school places. Transport infrastructure projects like the CTRL should have helped but I can't see that they really have.

Since I worked for HM Government over 39 years ago it allegedly had a policy of diversifying ... well everything ... around the country.

To be fair its not just Scotland that's been shafted. If there was ever a reason to vote NO it would be to save rUK.
