We all knew they were charity thieves, now it seems we're not the only junkies in the toon.
Its a retard story so I copied and pasted
HEARTS owner Ann Budge has told how she nearly scrapped the clubs official charity after a drug dealing employee stole 54,000 from its coffers.
Budge said she considered closing down the Big Hearts Community Trust after it emerged its bookkeeper and administrator Kelly Arundel had plundered its accounts.
But the Tynecastle supremo decided the community should not suffer because of the criminal actions of one individual.
Budges Bidco group investigated the embezzlement as part of a due diligence exercise before taking over Hearts last year.
Arundel admitted taking the cash and claimed it was to pay off loan sharks threatening to harm her four-year-old daughter.
The 33-year-old was the sole person in the charitys office at Tynecastle Stadium and used her position to siphon off huge sums.
But when suspicious staff confronted Arundel, she burst into tears and admitted the scam, adding she was in trouble with dangerous people.
At the citys sheriff court on Thursday, Arundel pleaded guilty to embezzling 53,652.81 between March 1 and August 14 2013.
Arundel, from Bainsford, Falkirk, was already serving a 27 month jail term imposed in November last year for drug offences.
