Another comedy favourite gone from us, must say was never sure of him in fools and horses, but really got to appreciate the humour in Green Green grass

Have to be honest and say, I never really liked the Boycie character. For me he never really fitted in. Just my opinion.
RIP fella

Think a lot of folk knew somebody like Boyce, brought up like the rest of us, a little bit of success and suddenly think they're better than everybody else.
Can't think of one character that didn't fit the programme, funny as fuck
Spot on observation on real life mate. Usually boring pains in the arse better avoided.
Another of that ilk in the comedic genre was the Den Perry character in the splendid Pheonix Nights.

BIG G

I looked him up in Wiki,he did a hell of a lot of stuff, from Z cars to One Foot in the Grave.Mainly typecast as Plodders.

I think that's why I didnt take to him at first. But then I got the joke and thought he was brilliant

Never seen that comedy.

Best British series ever for me. Wish they'd called it a day after Time on our Hands. Always be remembered for that laugh
Aye that would’ve been the perfect final episode. Those 3 Christmas episodes in 1996 were all good, the specials they did after that were pretty dreadful.

Favourite Boycie episode “A Losing Streak” from series 2 where he thinks he’s cleaned Del out at poker! RIP

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure - do - it's a triumph!

Here's the first series:

My favourite character in Phoenix Nights was the fantasist/incorrigible liar Kenny.

"So I wakes up and guess who's lying next to me?

Bonny Langford.

I nearly broke her back!"
