Jeremy Clarkeson

Always has been a tosser.
I never ever got the love in for him on top gear. Always came over as a fraud. Had a seriously high opinion of himself .
Lots and lots bought into it though , which fed his ego no end. He will survive this though , he always does.
To put his hatred of N Sturgeon on a par with Rose West , really says all you need to know about the guy. A bit like Boris and Farage, he says what a section of society want to hear.
prick

He’s a fanny, and writes for the Sun.

Dunno why anyone gets annoyed about him being him.
Agreed, the less I hear about the clown the better. Yet somehow his latest bile has made it on to my twitter timeline at least 100 times, no exaggeration, thanks to people being so terribly outraged about it. Just leave him shouting into the moral chasm that is S*n readers and don't pollute my timeline with it.

Unless he gets actually cancelled as a result in which case that'll be funny af.

He's a fanny absolutely but I find him a fairly likable fanny. I enjoyed his recent Amazon farming programme.

I can disagree with someone and like them. It's something we used to commonly do.
He's a *&*^. An utter fud. We don't need Jo Cox and David Amess to remind us there are even worse *&*^ out there who may feel emboldened by his schoolboy pish.

Oh come on. Nobody is allowed to have opinions anymore in case it sparks a fuckin sick nut job? Dearie me.

Oh fuck off. Nobody is allowed to have opinions anymore in case it sparks a fuckin sick nut job? Dearie me.
Opinions are absolutely fine, but anyone with a shred of intelligence should be able to read the room and judge maybe now is not the right time to come out with this shit.

I quite like your posts but please ram your "fuck offs" and "dearie me's" it's a forum where everyone's view should be accommodated without censure or abuse.
I apologise for the "fuck off". No need. However, it wasn't directed at you personally as such. I've edited it.

No problem Smurf. I'm back on the bevy which is pissing me off so probably a bit touchy and reverting back to my angry self. Appreciate the apology and pretty much agree with your views. Stay safe fellow Hibby. 🙏🏻💪🏻

I really can't be doing with this "no-one is allowed to have opinions any more" line that gets trotted out with increasing regularity. If his opinion is that he wants to see a woman stripped naked and marched through town having shit thrown at her then he's a c**t. He'd have equally been a c**t in the seventies, eighties and nineties. Somehow folk argue that you should be allowed to be a c**t now without folk calling you out in the name of "free speech".

It's the timing Rocky, when people are demonising a woman who is already scared for her safety.

It isn't just an opinion though is it? It's an article published in one of the UK's highest selling newspapers.

It's bad enough (but sadly not surprising) that Clarkson comes out with pish like this. The fact that some editor approved the article is the saddest/most depressing thing here.

K you're better than that.
That post sounds like it belongs on Millwall forum.
Look at the responses to his article on social media, scary stuff from racist knuckle draggers and its not a huge leap to some of the mentally challenged following his lead.
With free speech comes great responsibility.

Its Kelvin McKenzie material.
Ironically the editor is a 50 year old Liverpudlian woman!
Maybe that's the joke ?

Nope, hes like Boyd, he’s a cvnt, a misogynistic cvnt, he’s thrush, an irritating cvnt. Would never tire pinching his cvnt in. The cvnt.

The responsibility for, and censure of, folk like Clarkson is tricky.

He is clearly playing a role. He's an exaggerated character, like the persona of stand up comedian. Whether his material is to your taste is neither here nor there (I personally find his smug, little England, cunty persona utterly unappealing).

However, unlike a comic he isn't on after the watershed, he isn't given a recommended age rating, he isn't packaged as satirist or a clown. He is in the paper, treated like a journalist, so the consequences of his rhetoric are further reaching and more insidious.

Like @Murky said I think the Sun's editors are the really irresponsible ones here.

I'm quite surprised at the number of complaints. My impression is that most Sun readers would be in accordance with the views expressed as they are quite happy to read the right wing unionist pish that 'journalists' there regularly espouse.

17,000 and counting?

Some Sun readers must have complained twice then, or are there more Sun readers than I thought.

Pretty sure a lot of the complaints are from people who read about this after the fact on places like twitter once it broke. I agree with you about Sun readers.

Any yous heard this geezer from Redcar before? I think he has relevant points. I can 'hate' or 'like' any person I want to.

I think he's obviously a pompous twat and a prick
But I've enjoyed some of his TV.

I liked Top Gear when I was younger, grand tour wasn't as good but the specials are decent.
I liked the farm too.

Don't read his articles, twitter or anywhere else.
Hes just trying to get the reactions he gets. Gets hired for that purpose I'm sure.

Your final sentence is the one that’s most pertinent in instances like this. People can come out with whatever pish they want, and they’ll be cheered or decried appropriately. However the fact that “newspapers” still print things like this is the real issue, as you say it’s sad and the only thing sadder is that people still buy it or read it.

I don't buy any newspapers. But I would assume that any guardian reader has just got as closed mind than any sun reader.

Is that a Chris Morris sketch?
