James McLean and Nemjana Matic

As usual, its the time of year when it becomes open season on James McClean. He has constantly stated his reasons for not wearing a poppy but being Irish and Catholic is enough reason for the lunatics to go into meltdown mode and that includes the media as well as the Tommy Robinson disciples.. This year Man Utds Nemjana Matic has also refused to wear a poppy. Stating his reason that he was a frightened 12-year-old kid in Serbia when the RAF as part of NATO bombed his country.
Obviously, the poppy fascists are outraged at both men but I notice the media are being a lot more understanding to Matic than they are to McLean. Is this country anti-Irish and is Mclean like Lenny victims of a deeply ingrained sickness?

I don't actually read the press much, so I can only go by what I see on Facebook but i could imagine the furore there has been from the likes of the Mail.I can only think it's because the establishment don't like to be reminded of the part Britain played in Ireland especially as they are about to negotiate a Brexit deal.I would imagine the Mail and the Sun etc will have quite a record on anti Irish hysteria going back to their foundation.Someone with a bit of time could probably dig up the Headlines.
On a slightly different note on my Poppy Fascism post I saw a video the other day that showed the British Legion visiting Hitler,Himmler, Goering and other leading Nazis in 1935.So next time you baulk at a British Nazi zeig heiling whilst wearing the poppy know now that they had some form.

I have to admit that Mclean arguing with dafties on twitter and quoting bobby sands doesn't help his case. He would be better just making his statement and leaving it at that. i doubt Matic will escape the boo boys. They love nothing more than being outraged and the poppy is their favorite tool to hit people with.
