Obv muslims are an issue for you Davy but i don't see why you think it's an issue that affects our country,Scotland.

Scotland is 96% White,you'd be better highlighting the blatant sectarianism that exists within the 96% white community....

Muslims in themselves are not an issue for me...I know plenty and get on well with them all. What bothers me is the inaction of the government to properly vet these hate preachers...and if you bothered to watch the videos you would see there is plenty. You would also notice that there are many people in attendance at their meetings. As to the general population, the numbers increase rapidly. Won't be a great issue in my lifetime, but in 30 years time it will be. I suspect Birmingham 30 years ago was a whole different place. Now even leaving aside that it may be only a small percentage who actually want to take over the country and install their own Islamic state, surely you should be concerned at the numbers who are affected by hate preachers and the potential of them becoming home bred terrorists? Watch the videos which are not from sources such as the daily mail, but from the TV documentary Dispaches with genuine undercover reporters. Burying heads in the sand wont make the issue go. I would be happier if moderate Muslims would rise against these preachers and tell them they are not wanted here.

This is however a discussion board, so if you think white sectarianism is a greater issue then you are free to put up your points

I watched the progs at the time and think they're extremist pricks,it's funny because their views on capital punishment etc are quite similar to views i've read on here.

Their views are also similar to the DUP,The "Christians" holding the balance of power in this country.

We either go down the 1984 route and ban everything or have free rights and take these fcukers out when they become a threat.

Tbh i don't care what Birmingham looked like 30 yrs ago,i care about what Scotland will look like in 30 yrs.

And i care what Scotland will look like hence I bring these things up so lessons are learned. I also worry about things in England because like it or not they are part of the Uk and can influence council and Mp elections. As I say though I hope my concerns are wrong and i will repeat that the Muslims I know are great guys who I would hope would not give these hate preachers the time of the day. The point about DUP is valid...however they are not talking about throwing homosexuals off a cliff as the woman at the beginning of the second documentary
suggest should we become a Muslim nation.

You'd think most normal people at the mosque (and Proddy church) see these folk for what they are and get on with normal life afterwards... :thumbgrin
