What position would you want?

For me a top quality centre forward. Gayle is quality but he's towards the last few days of his career. Yes we have Bowie coming back. For me big Myko is a disappointment. McKirdy is hopefully gone.

If we got a Maolida type in the door things would get very interesting for 3rd place....

I'm hoping we're making inroads to a decent team next season.

This season started off horrendous and I was preparing myself for relegation. We've got way better and possibly make top 6 but I wouldn't be shocked if we don't. Not gonna get relegated though and loads of dead wood gone for next season.
 
Our forwards don't score enough goals, Bowie looks like he will do a lot of work for the team and technically has it but I feel we need a fox in the box, I agree. If we sell Youan tomorrow we are light on the right wing too if Boyle gets fucked.
 
I'd like to think that if Youan leaves in this window, we have at least 3-4 players scouted as a potential replacement, or at least sounded a couple out. That way all our eggs aren't in one basket and hopefully sign one of the scouted players.

If we have done it will be a complete change from the norm. I'm still spooked with selling Stokes on deadline day and loaning Daryl Duffy to replace him. :grrr:

We had 42 players at the start of the season C. Thats 17 either away or on loan.

Chris Cadden has agreed a new contract and Miller is staying too from what I'm told mate. SDG wants Boyle to stay but needs a cut in his wages.

Fuckin hell Jair as another year left. Iredale extension please. I want him at Nicky Cadden at in the spine of our team for the next few years. Two great signings.

The club can't just base their decision on more recent form though and tie themselves in. Let's be honest most of us until late November thought it might be best he moves on to Australia.

The lad had his pain to contend with and I don’t think jetting round the world at international breaks helped which must have affected his form, almost back to his best now, captaincy may have helped as well . No denying he is vital to our season going forward

I’d rather he didn’t sign a pre-contract somewhere else though, which could happen and then losing Youan ( probably ) in the summer would be bad, considering the recruitment capabilities at the club 🤷‍♂️
