They could appoint Josef Fritzl and still have that be true though. And he'd certainly be more in tune with the support...

Inevitable that McInnes will be Greyskull bound. Cheap option and probably a wise one given his experience and association with them. They need someone that knows this league.

I dinnae think McInnes would go tbh. I mean, I think first of all would the Huns pay the compo required for someone on a 4 year deal. He's KBd them before.

Of course, if they DID pay the money he'd maybe see it as his last chance to manage his rancid boyhood side. The seethe at the bus shelter would be hilarious though!
 
McInnes isn’t leaving the top of the league for the news at
Rangers.

He turned them down before when at Aberdeen and they weren’t in as strong a position as Hearts are just now.
 
Yep. The last two times he was in the frame, the timing was right in terms the Hun hierarchy wanting him. If they are desperate things might be different, as many Bouncers have said, they must be down to the last pennies in the Arcade.

He's the same age as me:9:and younger than a lot of the "experts" on here! That aside, he doesn't need the money, he's a hun through and through and he's an egotistical prick with no pundit contract any more.
 
Inevitable sacking for Martin...he was an odd choice from the start.
I think they will go for McInnes...who won't turn down the salary and draw of managing Rangers (his boyhood club) in order to slog it out with Hearts.
He turned them down before, but at this stage of his managerial career that wouldn't happen again.

Strangely, I see the appeal of Martin; purported to play a high energy quick game with goals. But boy it was not that!

Unless he has a release clause, they'd have to pay a lot of money to get McInnes. I doubt they'd pay it. I think he'd be the best option for them though

With a £20m net spend so far and, I’d imagine, a fair wedge in compo due to Martin, the begging bowl will be out again soon.
