Labour need to get more young folk into the voting cupboard!

So;

- the working class, the middle class and the coffin dodgers were majority Tory

- the unemployed, academics, students and other youths, were majority labour

- the mail's readership is less polarised than the guardian's.

No surprises there then.

How quickly we forget how wrong the pollsters have been about everything recently.

I was one of the people who were surveyed for this :read:

Were you honest with them?

...,.....

This was a survey after the event and not about predicting the outcome.

How much were you paid?

WHAT!

You did it for free!!!!

Tbf this is analysis of votes that have been cast which is very different to forecast of votes to be cast. Tb further f I think yougov are the pollster cat that got the cream. Their model which mapped forecasted patterns to seats and predicted a hung parliament while everyone else had the Tories well ahead, even if labour had closed the gap, was really not far off at all. Well done them; credit where it is due.

Labour & Torres combined polled 82%ish highest combined share since 1970ish

I think the snp number was down by a third or 500k votes. Nicolas halo has fallen off.

Still a bit surreal vast majority of MPs don't support brexit but are facilitating it. Is there a similar piece of legislation in recent years.

They could be giving SNP just enough rope before RD announces additional funding - not Barnett related, cos this isn't- for Scotland and ram it right up Sturgeon, would be pretty smart.

Or Mundell/Davidson et al really couldn't give a flying fuck about Scotland and their only interest is Toryt government in Scotland. Which I get from Mundell, but actually not from Davidson.

its the latter, we all know it is the latter.

Mundell said scotland would benefit from any DUP deal....so you are right, he now needs something shiney for "show and tell"...or not as he is a thick skinned fckwit

Davidson has more MPs than Arlene....but is now looking less and less powerful buy the day, she is wisely refusing all tv appearances, i expect she would get roasted like boris trying to defend rape clauses and fox hunting and disability cuts.

If they really are just gonna avoid the media and carry on regardless, they're really letting The SNP off the hook when they're probably as weak as they have been this decade.

Could be the start of cross party alliance between SNP and Labour in Scotland, esp if Sturgeon rolls back a wee bit on indy.

I've done farts more powerful than Ruth , they stood up for scotland better than her too!!!!

Corbyn hasn't gone to war with the SNP....that is very noticable

I said as much to Gus tonight in the pub. The Tories at WM will "reluctantly" give in to demands from the Scottish tories and give us some money. This will make them look good and make the SNP look inefffective at WM. A win/win for the tories. He dismissed it as a conspiracy theory but I reckon that's what will happen.
