October Nights under the lights at Easter Road what's not to like.
If you ignore the away end, it's fabulous.
The Cinnamon Buns are buoyant after finally winning a league game at Ibrox. They have a new manager too, who was very popular at Sheffield Wednesday. Fascinating. I think they are bottom of the Europa League qualifying group, and lost all their games so far. Oh well. Is Patrick still in charge there? He's doing a great job.
You wouldn't think so if you listened to their revolting fans. Some of their behaviour towards their own players and staff has been positively medieval. Buns will be buns. They wont walk away though. Oh no. The gash my father supports as one wise sage once wrote.
They did get a result on Sunday, but I've not followed their team, so don't know whats changed. We'll see tomorrow.
The tempation clearly is go with an unchanged team. I suspect we won't but I'm not quite sure what changes we'll make but I think it will centre around the wide players and the forwards. I'm still no nearer to working out how to get Bushiri and Hanley in the same team. Bushiri was really good when he appeared on Sunday. Barlaser has won me over - but you can clearly see in the players we've brought in they play really well forwards.
So I think we'll go something like this:
Sallinger
O Hora - Hanley - Iredale
Mulligan-Barlaser-Chaiwa-Beardy
McGrath
Bowie-Klidje
Bench looks to have plenty on it.
I still think we’re a better team with Rocky in it, but I wouldn’t drop Hanley..
I haven't seen David Grays presser so he might have illuminated a bit more on selection. Is it today?
I've assumed Super Joe Newell is injured.
I'd like it if Hibs didn't concede in the 45th+ or 90th+ minutes - it didn't matter in Aberdeen thankfully.
Boyle or Youan may be the late match winner (amazing what a difference ten minutes makes against Aberdeen)
I think today is Franck Sauzee's 60th birthday. Bon Anniversaire Monsieur Franck. There was a bunskelper of some repute.
As always though, that's my thoughts, I'm more interested in hearing yours
