October Nights under the lights at Easter Road what's not to like.

If you ignore the away end, it's fabulous.

The Cinnamon Buns are buoyant after finally winning a league game at Ibrox. They have a new manager too, who was very popular at Sheffield Wednesday. Fascinating. I think they are bottom of the Europa League qualifying group, and lost all their games so far. Oh well. Is Patrick still in charge there? He's doing a great job.

You wouldn't think so if you listened to their revolting fans. Some of their behaviour towards their own players and staff has been positively medieval. Buns will be buns. They wont walk away though. Oh no. The gash my father supports as one wise sage once wrote.

They did get a result on Sunday, but I've not followed their team, so don't know whats changed. We'll see tomorrow.

The tempation clearly is go with an unchanged team. I suspect we won't but I'm not quite sure what changes we'll make but I think it will centre around the wide players and the forwards. I'm still no nearer to working out how to get Bushiri and Hanley in the same team. Bushiri was really good when he appeared on Sunday. Barlaser has won me over - but you can clearly see in the players we've brought in they play really well forwards.

So I think we'll go something like this:

Sallinger
O Hora - Hanley - Iredale
Mulligan-Barlaser-Chaiwa-Beardy
McGrath
Bowie-Klidje

Bench looks to have plenty on it.

I still think we’re a better team with Rocky in it, but I wouldn’t drop Hanley..

I haven't seen David Grays presser so he might have illuminated a bit more on selection. Is it today?

I've assumed Super Joe Newell is injured.

I'd like it if Hibs didn't concede in the 45th+ or 90th+ minutes - it didn't matter in Aberdeen thankfully.

Boyle or Youan may be the late match winner (amazing what a difference ten minutes makes against Aberdeen)

I think today is Franck Sauzee's 60th birthday. Bon Anniversaire Monsieur Franck. There was a bunskelper of some repute.

As always though, that's my thoughts, I'm more interested in hearing yours

Leaving C cadden out, could work as he is the one position not solved yet . Hopefully Warren is fit as the back three seem settled now . If only Chris could up his wb form we would be good 🤷‍♂️

The issue with that is that Mulligan gets moved to RWB, where he is far less effective. I'd go with the same lineup that got us 6 points out of 6, unless O'Hora isn't able to play, then I would stick Rocky in there in his place.

Will be a hard game to win IMO.
Rangers have hugely underperformed this season.....I think they have some very good players and they now have a new manager to impress, and they have to start winning games very soon. Hopefully not starting tomorrow night.
Hibs have some momentum, are at home, and haven't beaten Rangers at Easter Road for quite a few years now.
We really could do with a win, but I wouldn't be too upset at yet another draw.
No more goals conceded in time added on please Hibs.

2-2.

As strange as it may seem yes absolutely. Don't worry though it won't happen.

I know, I'm just interested.

I like Youan, but I wouldn't be throwing him in against Hunco.
Still gotta earn that trust back.

Bowie, we know will go out and battle. That's a key part of how we play.

Hibs got better when Boyle came on at the weekend, Boyle would get in before Youan for me.

Unchanged team is the logical choice but you can shoot me for this...drop Chrissie Cadden and play Rocky in there instead utilising Mulligan where we need him most

I reckon he’s going to start the same 11 as against the sheep, hopefully O’Hora is available. Bowie will start I think with Elie to come on and finish them off . I’m going 2-1 to the Hibees 🇳🇬

According to Hibs Observer;
Dylan Levitt has had surgery to remove his appendix...expected to be out till after international break.
Rudi Molotnikov has damaged his ankle in the under 19's Euro game last week and faces 6 to 8 weeks out.
O'Hora has resumed training but is going to be monitored today to see if he will be fit for the Rangers game.

Anything that stops Mulligans energy, drive and combativeness in midfield is a no from me.

Sallinger
O'Hora Hanley Iredale
Cadden Mulligan Barlaser Cadden
McGrath
Klidje Bowie
I’d go with that too. Great options from the bench, but we need to win the middle of the park first, and Mulligan needs to be in there if we’re going to.

I’d start Boyle and Klidje up front together… Bowie looked sharper on Sunday but still isn’t on top form and I think we’ll need to get in behind the Huns quickly. Youan could be the other option but not sure how close to full fitness he is.

Salinger
O’Hora Hanley Iredale
Cadden Mulligan Barlaser McGrath Cadden
Boyle Klidje

If Elie hasn’t changed and disny pass it’ll be a trainwreck, Klidje is a team player and needs a mate up front . Do we really want th chance it, no me I’ m afraid and I don’t think SDG will either 🤞

Agree H 👍

The players that started against the sheep should all start again today if fit, they have done nothing to lose the shirt so deserve to keep it.

However, I do think SDG will opt for Rocky over O'Hora as a result of him going off injured, and this is not something that would upset me, as Rocky is more than capable of popping up with a goal.

Let's go for these horrible bar stewards, get right at them from the first whistle, if we get an early goal then they could implode.

Also, best picture of Kris Boyd's ugly mug when we beat them wins an award that money can't buy. Nothing. But it would still be great to see..........
