I've not been far this week, and it's Easter Road on a Sunday for a change to save the orc fans venturing out their houses. I did notice that they have been dispatched from Europe. Oh well.
The away end will have less orcs and more good guys. Great initiative from Hibs, keep it up.
They have been on quite a run domestically, but you know, you just feel it's not really justified with their team. It all feels a bit flimsy. A right good performance would give them a run for their money.
As usual they've been revolting this week on their European trip about their treatment by Portuguese police. They always seem to compare and contrast how things are down abroad compared to Scotland
I've not really followed their key players or star performers but I did catch the moon howlers phone in going on and on and on about James Tavernier not playing. BORING. I'd play him.
I can't not mention the departing hero Keiron Bowie. A cracking player who scored some magnificent goals who wasn't here for long enough. We couldn't turn down the money offered though, I hope we re-invest it wisely. All the best Keiron, it was a pleasure.
So, we currently have three new signings, a midfielder and two forwards. A sports journalist friend of mine who happens to be a Spurs fan immediately texted me to say how excited he was for Dane Scarlett coming to us - an excellent striker who just needed more gametime at Spurs. Kai Andrews and Owen Helding look excellent additions too.
A bit of a stab in the dark here, but I think we'll go something like this:
Sallinger
O Hora - Hanley - Rocky
Chrissy Cadden-Barlaser-Chaiwa-McGrath
Helding
Captain Scarlett-Boyle
Youan should be in there somewhere, but I just can't fit him in.
The additions should help strengthen the bench
I've assumed any of the mainstays missing are injured
We need a much better performance than our previous toothless efforts v the Cinnamons and a reaction from Saturday. Something closer to the best performances we've done this season. I've a funny feeling we'll get it too.
As always though, that's my thoughts, I'm more interested in hearing yours
