Aww shite, its another game, no doubt ruining my Tuesday. We were rotten on Saturday, not helped by Obita's stupidity, weird substitutions and a comedy of errors. There really is nothing to look forward to and I expect a tiny home crowd on what will be a cold, foggy night. I particularly look forward to the away fans version of "Love will tear us apart again" as the piss poor Hibs players walk round the pitch post match applauding the hardy few who stay to the end.

Yup, I am looking forward to it.

Team, well fuck knows, a) I cannot understand Gray's team selections and b) you couldnae get a good team out the squad anyway, lets be honest.

So a team.....

Miller, he was better than Chris Cadden on Saturday

I hope Marv is fit, if not there is no choice but O'Hora

Rocky did well 95% of the game on Saturday

I would have Nicky Cadden at left back, no idea why Iredale replaced him at Dundee

Triantis tried hard not to let us down

Levitt, he deserves a start

Rudi, he should never been taken out the team

I hope Hoillet is fit and looks like he wants to play

I would go with 2 up front, Myko and Gayle

To be honest, I have not got a scooby anymore.

Thoughts?

Like you I’m not remotely looking forward to the game. I’m not going to even bother trying to guess a team as you’re spot on, David Gray’s selections are baffling, and there’s not much to pick from anyway.

Obita won’t play. Bursik should never play for our club again. Triantis fails do the basics of the position he’s playing, and turns in fear when defending corners, so I wouldn’t have him anywhere near the team. Newell continues to have absolutely zero impact so someone else deserves a chance. Campbell simply isn’t anywhere near the levels required.

So there’s at least five changes I’d make, but some expect Gray to start them all except Obita….

I’d like to see guys like Moriah-Welsh, Levitt and Molotnikov play more regularly, they cannot do any worse than the guys that have been. Nicky Cadden too.
 
Im not looking forward to this one at all, they could give us a proper skelping tomorrow, I agree with you , anyone but Bursik. In his pre match interview SDG said Marv won’t be available, he’s out for a number of weeks . Hopefully Rocky will perform. Dylan deserves a start. I would also try a two up top , with Myko and Gayle.

That could be me writing that, if only that WAS the line up, wont be though, will be the usual suspects no doubt. hopefully Marvin is available instead of Rocky though 🤔
 
I suppose it can't get much worse.... Aberdeen had slight hiccup at weekend. I think we could get a draw, barring any stupid mistakes!...
 
Bursik needs dropped, I’d keep Rocky in a back 3 along with Iredale and o Hora. Controversial time but midfield 3 needs to be Kwon Triantis to provide physicality and Levitt for some creativity. Nicky Cadden and Miller wing backs. Myko and Boyle up front as he’s too slow to play on the wing now but is still our most experienced and direct forward and a good finisher. Hoilett Rudi and Newell impact subs. Youan doing keepie-uppies with Mckirdy in the Development squad. At this point we just go for it, nothing to lose and we need 3 points from somewhere might as well be the sheeple.

I'm sure Gray said there was still a few days until it kicks in so you could be right.
 
I’m not going either. For the first time I really can’t face it. Choked with the cold, would have to start work early in order to finish early and travel up from the Borders. I think it’ll be toxic and I’d rather spend my Tuesday evening at home with my daughter. This Hibs team are really knocking the love of it out of me
 
Obviously the loan goalie gets dropped as that should be an absolute long overdue gimmie and Smith seems to be the reserve back up at least going by his position in the squad.🤔.

Nothing much to worry about there except Smith doesn't play competitive football at least not in the last 5 years and going by his 1 appearance so far the reason why seems obvious.

So its mind boggling and breathtaking that our "cast of thousands" namely Samson, Marshall, Mr Nasty, SDG, "Sunbed", "Fat Malky", "The Laddie" and Charlton (or is he gone and do we care?) all in senior management postions taking £millions in salary think this wholly avoidable situation is an acceptable set of affairs.😭.

So playing Boruc instead seems a gamble well worth taking as does going to a 3/5/2 formation as there was the semblance of a structure when it was tried earlier this season but all bets are off if the Sheepies score first.🤔
