A Place Full Of Radges!
G’day all!! Travelling up for the Ross county match. First visit!! No ticket yet… tips and advice welcomed! Thanks Chris
Cheers, top advice so far. Best place to sit in the ground next please? (I’ll add facing away from the pitch… before you do)
Brilliant stuff cheers!! Will take a look into all that this weekend… travelling from Burton on Trent (Wednesday fan)West Stand Lower for me, others like the East stand, others the Famous Five. All have their merits. It rains less on you in the West generally, better atmosphere in the East, Famous Five is cheaper I think?
Food is pretty much standard fan scrannage in the ground, although the peri peri fries will feed a family of four comfortably, they are as dry as Anne Budges hoo hoo without the addition of broon or red sauce. If they ask if you are a season ticket holder, say yes, you get discount.
Best place for pre match scran is £2 Pizza on the walk up to the ground along Albion Road, it really is £2 to £3 a big slice of very good pizza. If you like a pint, the Harp and Castle on Leith Walk is a proper Hibs pub as is Robbies across the road, Tamsons. the Persevere and the Iona on Easter Road the same, Middletons is for away fans and the Hibernian Supporters Club on Sunnyside is excellent and very cheap if you can blag your way in.
Where are you coming from?
Back to advice: don’t let the *&*^ on here know you are a tourist.Brilliant stuff cheers!! Will take a look into all that this weekend… travelling from Burton on Trent (Wednesday fan)
