Hi there Hibees,
as is pretty obvious from the username I am a Bournemouth fan since the early seventies. So the last ten years have been an almost surreal experience after forty years of watching the lower leagues. I'm not here for any " our club/league is better than yours" rubbish. I am more interested in how the Black Knight Group is going to evolve. A bit about me to start: I was born in 1959 in Glasgow, but the family moved down to Bournemouth when I was four so ( thankfully ) I escaped getting dragged into all the bigotted stuff. Pretty sure my old man was a Partick fan anyway. Spent most of my school holidays up in Aberdeen, watched a few games up there when you could walk round three sides of Pittodrie.
So, how do you feel about this multi club approach? I will give you an insight into our L'Orient dealings. We bought a player from them for 20 million ans signed a player who had been on loan there last season and promptly sent him back there on loan this season. That appears to be it so far. I admit I was thinking there would be more of a crossover, with a shared training camp pre season or even a couple of days of them at our training ground and lter us over there but that hasn't happened. Maybe when our new one gets finished it will.
Anyway enough for a first post, good luck tomorrow against that lot.
