Happy birthday mate. I'd have put this on Twitter but I'm currently in jail, halfway through a 7-day stretch because the Twitter polis bot can't differentiate between hate speech and sarcasm but has managed not to jail the idiot I was responding to.

I don’t really do twitter but the description seemed to fit.

Nah it wasn't you Doc. It was an arsehole who commented that Monkeyvirus is only being spread by homosexuals and that in view of this "Sturgeon" should stop promoting anal sex in primary schools. I responded by saying "Ah it reminds me of the heady days of yore when only Gays caught HIV " with accompanying smilie with raised eyebrows to show I was being sarcastic.

Twitter immediately blocked me but invited me to appeal so I did and about a nanosecond later I got a message saying Twitter had considered my appeal and they still viewed my comment as hate speech and banned me for a week. I can still view the pages so could see that the person I responded to didn't get any ban.

I got a 12 hour posting ban yesterday for saying I hoped Ukraine would lose the play off,hate speech apparently

can't be any worse. I've got a day and a half to go then I will likely be banned again as I intend to fire in to Twitter support to demand an apology for accusing me of hate speech and recommending that their bot is fired for gross incompetence,

Unreal. If AI bots ran the show for lack of human numbers to properly moderate, then things would be much worse. More profitable for whoever is running Twittsville though ...?
