Against 10 men since 25th minute at same time they got the 2nd of their 3 penalties....
After the shocking 2 stonewallers we never got last week, it seems we couldn't even buy a penalty or a team to get s man sent off, regardless how we get kicked off the park sometimes, elbows etc

That's 5.30 and they're just emptying tyncastle, there's 10 thousand o the ****S all putting their socks and shoes back on.

Status' on Facebook tonight are cringeworthy.

They think they are champions league contenders now.

For as much as it pains me, they are doing to teams what we should be! Regularly skelping teams while we chuck away 2 goal leads at haim!

Agreed.
Much as I dislike them, the Gunts go for the kill every time. Whilst we fail to kill teams off, they beat them to a pulp.

They go on to sexually abuse them which is unnecessary though.

Exactly.

Everything appears to have clicked into place all over their club.
They've shown no respect when playing against Championship sides, kept on the front foot and reaped the rewards.

Penalties aside, which I found all 3 difficult to judge, 6 of the goals were still well-taken.
A 4 minute hat-trick for Zeefuik and 10 goals within 50 minutes! It's no wonder they're called the Blue Brazil! :doh

They have taken a ruthless attitude against the small, part-time outfits of this league and scored loads of goals in the process. Their finishing has been far better than Hibs over the season, but I still believe it is solid defensive organisation and a very high level of fitness throughout their squad which has gained them the success they have enjoyed. Like any Hibs supporter I don't like them, but they will be worthy winners of this league.

I have only seen some and they were enough, on their own, to remind me why I am a Hibs fan.

This Championship is half decent at the top end (top 5 clubs) and absolutely keech in the bottom half. When a top half team plays a bottom half team these scorelines could happen. We did actually beat Cowdenbeath (when they played with 11 men for the entire game) by 5 goals and I recall us being patted on the head and told "it's only Cowdenbeath"...funny that

Hearts play industrial football. It is something they made mileage out of under Alex McDonald and his apprentice has developed it at the PBS and the Tannadice and now back at the PBS. He has built (it would appear even before Budge took over, as they were planning this over a year ago) a side full of hard working, strong and big players. It's not rocket science in a league like the one we are in. It will work if everyone does their job. They have done that.

3 points are, erm, 3 points :077:

We've put 4 points daylight between us and the Orcs. They've still to play the Gunts twice this season and us once. The 3 games in hand can be wiped out quite realistically. This weekend was MASSIVE for us as a club trying to have a realistic pop at the play offs by finishing second. None of our competitors for the play offs won. None of them. That is all we should be focusing on - us finishing 2nd.

And a cup semi final.

Forget what goes on elsewhere. It is irrelevant except when they play us and our direct competitors - and they are our unfortunate allies when they play the other sides vying for 2nd/3rd/4th.

Sure Stubbsy is saying something along these lines too to the players...we should only focus on OUR prize(s). :thumbgrin

They scored more yesterday than sevco have in 2015, eh?

Fair play to the ****s, I'd Lord it a wee bit if we papped someone 10 zip

Great post. My thoughts exactly. As long as we beat them at ER in April, they can put 20 past everyone else, for all I care.

The advantage 'Charity Thieves FC' have over the rest of the clubs is that they had the threat of their club almost disappearing and that's galvanised ALL at the PBS - plus the level\standard of their play last season has meant they were far more prepared\accustomed for what's required for the Championship. We've had a similar, but far less effective* boost with the arrival of AS\LD and behind-the-scenes change but unfortunately it didn't have an immediate effect. The good thing is that eventually, the traditional Jambo-arrogance and 'ideas way, way above reality' will return\increase (sooner rather than later) and gradually 'Playing within their means' WILL have an effect (unless Budge turns out to be a traditionalist !) - it's impossible for it not to. The standard\level and sheer-number of players they've become accustomed to over the 'Money Years' will be immensely lower and will come as a dramatic culture-shock for the vast majority of them. Sadly, I don't see their current 'upward-swing' vanishing overnight but I'm confident it'll start to diminish next season as their support will be demanding their much-cherished (and self-deluded) '3rd Biggest-club' status but without the finances\players to achieve\buy it !.

* what I meant by 'less-effective' is, IMHO, certain character(s) continued presence remain an obstacle to the HIbs-support being 100% fully behind - or trusting - the club's plans.
