It's the weirdest one yet IMHO. Haven't got a scoobie what it's about though.

Me neither. I usually enjoy the little 'theme' days they have but I found this one a bit nippy - clever though it is.

I think it may be HTML5. Usually if something like the google logo was to be done in the past it would have been flash.

Totally - an idea of what's going to come with html5...and I suspect we'll see more later this week as part of Google's b-day celebrations.

The logo yesterday was pretty cool. Could it all have been a bit marketing for the launch of Google instant? It has generated a lot of interest on a few of the forums I frequent.

Is google instant now live for all of you too?

Its live on .com but not on the .co.uk google. I think the 2nd logo, the one which lit up as you type was defo to do with google instant.

i'm liking the the effect of type "hibee" on instant :-)
