But a genius. Everybody goes on about the influence of Kraftwerk and rightly so, but I’m not sure they are anymore Godfathers of electronic music than the bold Giorgio. What a repertoire, various in style, from stuff that meets music snob approval to brilliant cheese. And all instantly recognisable as his handiwork nevertheless.
