We were all wondering what was going on in terms of investment on the pitch and how the BKs fitted in to appointing an inexperienced HC with his mates as assistants and have only recruited lower league jobbers (not offence they actually look no bad) but it flies in the face of everything that was said when they where coming to the table.

Well now we know they aren't having input and it's pretty much the same as ever. At least we know that now and the pressure is on the board of the club to respond and deliver players capable of playing for our club if they are ignoring the BKs suggestions. I don't think for a second this will happen when Ian Gordon is involved but it's the hope that gets you.

We appointed McKay as sporting director on the basis of being the chairman’s mate and not much else. What qualified him for the role? Getting the sack at Ross County same as what qualified McDermott? McKay isn’t going to go against the wishes of his boss which is ultimately Ian Gordon.
BKs look as if they would have liked to interact with us to go down a different route after the internet review and it’s been completely ignored and we have a yes man in place that will do what the owners tell him. I can see why the BKs are correctly pissed off.

No I want someone who is experienced in the position working alongside them for what is best for our club. Not someone that hasn’t done the role sacked off Ross County and got the job because he’s a mate of the chairman that is assisted by a newly retired player with again absolutely no experience. Malky has been a manager, some a failed manager some decent, he also done a shite job at the SFA.

I’m not wanting them to take over. I want them and their network to have input over everything to do with the club to take it away from the twats who currently do so.

The owners of the club have completely failed the football side of it, the most important part and focused on commercial making it more attractive in the long term to sell and make a wedge. Foley wants our footballing side of things to get torn up and start again, can’t say I blame him. We just now it’s same old same old. No lessons learned no game changing shite, sod all.

Ian Gordon is still involved in recruitment, that’s not the way it should ever be.
Who was McKay appointed by to sort it? The same guys who appointed Kean and McDermott to “sort it”
Their problem if they have a problem will be we are ignoring the advice they give us as stated by Foley. It doesn’t even appear to really have a problem, just that the club have went their own way as per and it’s not for the best.

The “over reaction” as you play it down is down to failing seasons, sacked managers and compensation all over the shop, shite players brought in and an absolutely brutal squad. We finished 8th in the league last year and there’s been next to no improvements in the team or squad.
