Now I don't mind admitting it we (Bournemouth ) are a small club who found a gem of a manager and had about a 20 million investment ( Max Demim ) which got us to the EPL where finishing bottom gets you 100 million, which is crazy.

I was trying to find a way of mentioning this without it sounding like a mad screed. Foley's done alright at Bournemouth but he's not the architect of your success - Demim set things in motion and Foley, as far as I can tell, has simply overseen a good patch within that.

I don't think he has a magic wand and I don't think there's any reason to assume he'd be the messiah for Hibs if he had more involvement - his primary concern is polishing up BK assets for Bournemouth, rather than Hibs doing well. If we finish seventh but play AFCB kids in an AFCB style, that's a success for Foley and a nightmare for us. And far cheaper too. (He was vocal about wanting tippytap possession-based football across his teams, and between the pace of our game and the average technical skill that simply doesn't work here. We've watched it enough times.)
