End Of Season 'Awards Night'

Hermit Crab

Just A Radge
3 course meal and a welcome drink' on arrival. Drinks package on the table (a few bottles of shite wine). Yours for a snip at £200. Some cvnt is taking the piss.

Bear in mind theres no venue hire cost for the club as its at ER.

You still need to pay for your bevy on top of the ticket, and at £6+ a pint you'll need somewhere in the region of £200 to cover your night and hopefully get a taxi home with that too.

Plus you'll need the Monday off work.

**if you don't or cant drink, thats a raw deal as well.

Dinnae fuckin go then. :102:

I'm not the type of fan for these events. Sure it'll sell out plus the inevitable last minute 'cancellations' 🤔

Whats the point of investing in your own venue to generate your own revenue to re-invest in your own team when the grumpy old hard of thinking want to give their wonga to the EICC just because a pint will cost you £6.00 a pop.

No-one is forcing you to go or indeed drink

Last year it was £120 this year £200.

I know inflation is not within the Bank of England target of 2% sitting at 2.5% but FFS that's an increase of over 66%!!!

It's quite a jump isn't it. Fans = cash cows
I suspect we will see the biggest % increase in season ticket prices in many years announced soon....

The club is running at a lose. What's it to be they slash investment or we pony up more?

I'm already paying £450 for ST, If it breaches £500 I'm out.

My season ticket is 480 and it’s been around that bracket for a long time now

For a capital club I’d expect to be paying 500 quid minimum for a top flight team

It is very fairly priced imo

Just for price comparison.

Notts County (Division Two) most expensive adult ticket: £422

Nottingham Forest (Premiership) most expensive adult ticket: £850

There’s always a cost/benefit assessment around increasing season ticket prices, for where Hibs are as a club right now it would be a massive gamble to significantly increase prices. I think they’d be mad to increase them by a large percentage.

Personally I think they’ll be doing all they can to cash in on the 150th anniversary, which should alleviate the need for major ST increases.

Youan will be sold this summer, maybe Vente too, so that’ll generate some extra income.

Stadium improvement projects are complete so that’s an investment expenditure which has naturally ended.

Multiple players are out of contract in the summer, and we don’t have a vastly overpaid CEO on the books so the staff costs will reduce.

Our transfer strategy has changed and, for all the flack Malky gets, the club is operating a far more sensible and composed transfer strategy, and actually the football department in general appears far more stable… that should mean we’re no longer wasting fortunes on paying off managers, on mental stuff like B teams, or on players who were massively expensive (failed) gambles.

Chat elsewhere that we're expecting to make a loss of anything between £7m and £9m.

Where the fuck has all the money gone?
[Rhetorical question.]

Club showing they don't care for the ordinary fan, not surprising. Plenty folk will have the money though so good luck to them.
