I have watched episodes of The Sweeney so many times ... usually at 1 in the morning when they come on just as I am about to go to bed.

Loved The Sweeney when I was a kid.
It was a cutting edge TV cop drama back then but it does look quite dated now.
Minder was great as well.

Saw him play Arthur Doolittle (Eliza's Dad) in My Fair Lady in the West End.
