There's a certain irony to this. I suspect this will turn out to be a neighbours feud gone bad with yet another gun toting radge. However theres little doubt that has his Facebook page been full of evangelical Christian stuff rather than atheist rants, the same kind of culture war verbals would be spewing forth with the Dawkins mob in the front line.

How depressing it all is.

is there anythin anywhere suggestin that he killed these people because they were religious or specifically muslim :dunno:

journos (by the sounds of it) straight ontae his facebook page for some investigative journalism that doesnae really reveal anythin though am sure the headline "atheist arrested for killing muslims" sounds better than "disney quadbike fan arrested for killing muslims"

:coffee:

I agree - cops say its over a parking dispute, but that doesn't stop the americans and their politicising everything, mind you it would likely be the same here these days. The same kind of hashtags - whatever those may be - are 'trending' as happened with the recent police shootings, while some perspectiveless people are actually expecting world leaders to be publicly condemning events.

The guardian covers some of the social media bollocks here:

the first paragraph of the article says alot

"investigators are still searching for a motive"
if this statement is true, which it cant be unless the accused has refused tae answer or comment tae any questions or mediation via his lawyer which is bizarre considerin he turned himsel in :dunno: then why report the latter part of the paragraph
"as speculation mounted that the killings might be linked to their religion"
which insinuates that the polis are no revealin the truth at this stage even though the article further contradicts the motiveless statement by sayin its possibly over a parking dispute, so lets satisfy the social media hunger by providing somewhere for their opinions on it

its a tragedy that these 3 people have been murdered especially at such a young age, is this report some kind of coping mechanism for the public to digest :hmmm

Interesting example of the world we have now, as his wife tries to persuade us he's a good guy really cos he supports gay marriage and abortion - a bit bizarre citing the last in trying to mitigate a killing! Then there's the whole bonkers subtext 'it's okay, he's not a bigot, he only kills people over non bigoted things like car spaces'.

She later did the rationalist thing to do and announced she was divorcing him.

What a crazy mixed up world.
