fellow stattos may be interested to know that coventry city have not finished in the top six of any division since 1970, although they won fa cup in 1987.

that new ground deal saw them totally shafted from what i've read.

I remember seeing Hibs v Coventry in the 1970s when Terry Yorath played for them. It was part of a pre-season mini-tournament with Hearts and someone else from England.

Weather was great a goo advert for summer football.

Were they not also the longest serving team to feature in the premier league for 30 odd years before strachan relegated them? Might explain why they never got near the top 6 for so long.
