Does anyone have BT TV?

Me and my girlfriend looking at getting our own flat. I've been comparing BT TV against sky packages and can't seem to justify the extra costs you get with Sky.

Does anyone have BT tv? If so, how is it?

Loaday pish. Freeview plus Internet is all you need. Feck Rupert Murdoch, feck BT's subsidised pish.

Or should I have asked: What do you want?

Frankly, the answer is the same.

I have Virgin, but will be looking into getting a 'broken' Amazon stick thing when the contracts up most likely

I know you can get recordable freeview boxes but how much space do they hold? Except from my guilty pleasure of Pointless at tea time and the first 15 mins of the 6 o'clock news I watch nothing live. My TiVo is 1TB and is always nearly full. Also what freeview channels are available in HD? Can you bolt on BT to freeview - not much interest in premiership football but like the European Cups, FA Cup, the Scottish league cup (next year) and into the UFC. Not that bothered about new films, got Netflix and thinking of axing it.

Sorry know you're not Johnny Cable, we're spending much more time in the house in the evenings with us having a baby so like my home entertainment but the charges are horrendous if you add it up over the year.

I had BT TV and had it removed after one week , its really crap , what their sales people fail to tell you is although they have all these so called fantastic channels , its the same programs ,cartoons ,films on a continuous loop , so lets say one lazy Sunday morning you settled in for some light hearted fun with a day of cartoons , after the 6 are shown , hey presto you get to watch the same six again......all day..... the other programs are the same , several episodes on a loop , I opted for a 1TB recordable freeview box , and could watch anything i wanted when i wanted , but now being one of the Anti-BBC license payers , i now watch on demand channels via my computer onto my big screen telly via HDMI cable , so i get to see what i want when i want , without paying Auntie Bias Beeb a bloody penny win ,win as far as i am concerned .:yas:
