Ben Williams

Anyone see his interview in the sun today, can't seem to find it online.

Says some good things about the club, and that he would have stayed, and was gutted to get told no contract, then watch Butcher sacked 3 days later.

Said he wrote a letter to the fans but Hibs wouldn't publish it.

Comes across pretty well.

Always thought he was a pretty decent keeper.

Did ok today.....

Something similar in the Sun after he left. Didn't know about any letter. Better keeper than Oxley. Will always remember his penalty heroics in his first season saving 5 spot kicks and winning player of the season. Nice guy who respected the club and fans too. Wish him all the best.

He has only been playing in the cup ties For Bradford, being kept out by 20 year old Pickford.

I'd have kept him on for the Championship, but I wasn't happy with him in his second season.
He's different to Oxley in that his distribution is atrocious, but he has good reflexes and can save shots coming straight at him! :077:

I think the open letter to fans was noted in an article where he criticised the management team. A lot of the departing players were quick to blame the management, did any of them shoulder some blame for themselves?

He was instrumental in us getting to the Scottish Cup semi-finals, but I couldn't choose between him & Oxley.
