Looks like the establishment are rounding on the BBC after Dave was confronted on the sofa. Just an impression but it feels like the hounds of hell being unleashed on them. Something doesn't feel quite right about this. Same reaction for an ordinary Joe being implicated? Doubt it?

As with church - though as yet the Beeb's misdeeds are trivial in comparison - people are using the valid underlying issue as cudgel to prosecute other agendas.

If the tories are after them they will no doubt have a wider agenda, but if there's an immediate trigger I suspect having one of their peers wrongly accused by newsnight will be more the the trigger in question rather than the bushwhacking of call me Dave.
 
My thoughts exactly. Though isn't he ITV? Definitely an anti BBC agenda... SKY News OTT.
TBF Paxo and Humphries are wading in as much anyone; seems to me that there's as many internal scores being settled as those between organisations.
