I just knew this would make OTT headlines. Fair play for admitting it but lets not go overboard as he should never have went down in the first place and the sooner the majority cut this out the better.

"Incredible fair play"....ma arse.
 
Looks like he lost his footing rather than dived. Fair play to the lad, most would take the penalty.
 
Maybe as he got back up he realised he`d been an arsehole so he came clean, but it looks like he dived to me..

Agreed, at his own choice.

Seen it from a few angles on german tv this morning and its blatant...even on youtube footage. Kicking turf is more convincing than the flick of the foot into the opponent it seems!!!

Wonder if he'd have done the same if they were 2 doon wi feck all time left.
 
I still think he just fell over. I don't think he took a dive.

Although if they weren't winning at the time, he would 100% claim a penalty.
