Right lads, myself and the missus are thinking about going to Morocco, maybe Agadir for our holidays end of January for a week or so.

Any bouncers been there or recommendations.

I’m off to Marrakesh next year.

Was there years ago, very nice walking along the sea front, plenty good sea food restaurants.If I remember right the Royal Summer Palace is there so security is pretty good, plenty undercover cops and normal ones walking around.
Only down side was we got a taxi to the bazaar and he stopped over the road from it, man all these guides came over, we help, we help, basically keep saying no, and as long as you say that, the security ot cops at the doors, dont let them in with you.
Then inside a world of mystery.

Backpacked all round, met tons of interesting people, pissed most days, massive argument with locals and police in a bar in Marrakesh, had a shit in a train where the bottom had been knocked out the pan and the floor of the bog so shat on the tracks at high speeds, threatened with violence by my taxi drivers mates when I argued about the price, rode on a camel, everybody I met called me Ali Baba and wanted to sell me weed, joined a tour group and felt very intimidated by locals with guns and murals of Bin Laden in Ouarzazate, nearly died whilst retrieving my bag from the hold of a bus, the driver closed the hydraulic door catching me half in and half out and started to pull away, only saved by two tourists who heard me shouting and stopped the driver. Met a lovely Chinese/American lady who I ended up having a relationship with.
All this doesn't help you, sorry but thanks for taking me back.

Agadir is not really Morocco, it's like a Spanish Costa. Essaouira or sidi ifni up and down the coast are lovely but not for the same facilities as resorts. Could easily combine a Marrakesh plus Essaouira holiday but depends what you're after really. I picked a hire car in Agadir and headed straight out....
