Full Time: Aberdeen 0 v Hibs 4

[Dier - 1558]

The style of play is certainly far superior than what it has been for years.

Probably shows the players are able to adapt better under Marink.

[Sheldrake07]

Listening on the radio, jeez this is like Aberdeen Radio…!

[Hammi]

Probably shows the players are able to adapt better under Marink.

Just an understanding of how to better coach his players I think.
Week on week the improvements are showing. Now it's getting pretty fluid from a forward going perspective.

Certainly doesn’t look like a major re-build is required - and we have 7 or so players to come back from injury.

I've always thought there's a good squad of players there. Just lacking a balance and proper direction.

[Purple & Green]

9 shots 0 on target is pretty wasteful

We need better up front

[Forzahibs]

Been solid for a few games now.

I agree he could definitely play a defensive mid role

[Smurf]

Boyle HAS to hit the target there surely.

Hard one to take with the spin on it.

Only Boyle's was a proper clear cut chance, rest have been half chances.
Keep creating and the averages will catch up.

Would like to see Elding staying central and in the box though.

[baggageandfibs]

Enjoying our performance so far, really encouraging. First thought from most is to go forward, Iredale still hasn't got the memo but he did put a cracking ball in.

[Forzahibs]

At least we're creating chances now

Said the same in the Rocky thread, looks to be comfortable taking the touch round the first man on him and still getting the ball forward.

The same issues persist which we didn’t resolve in the transfer window.

Feels like we’re a little more intense, and we’ve tweaked a couple of things but nothing radically different to what’s gone before I think.

I wasn't sure who'd mentioned it

[Forzahibs]

Come on Hibs , early goal

[Hibees-Mad]

Newell looks like a different player. The intensity shown within the play is encouraging.

If we had a good old goalscorer I think we'd be in a very good place

[Purple & Green]

Some nice set piece play….but again…not a shot on target

[Purple & Green]

Ivezic doesn’t actually catch him at all

This ref is rubbish

[Purple & Green]

Newell getting caught in possession when we’ve worked our way to a good position, we’re beating ourselves

[bigmanandy]

Refs garbage, multiple descions hes got wrong now.

[Purple & Green]

We’re starting to turn over possession more, probably time for some tweaks and subs

[hibbybilly]

Get in

[blue toon hibby]

What a corker!

[HistolBribs]

what a fucking goal that is

[Forzahibs]

beauty

[Wull1955]

Boyle not doing enough but what a frikkin goal go on Jamie

[Purple & Green]

That’s a hit!

[hibbybilly]

Fuckin rasper

[bigmanandy]

Deserved and a cracking goal

[Forzahibs]

come on lets get another

[baggageandfibs]

Absolute peach, totally deserved. Hope we can keep 11 on the pitch and see this out.

[blue toon hibby]

Mulligan improving by the week, Chaiwa’s a far more positive player since Reedijk (and Newell) arrived.

[hibbybilly]

Nisbet got time tae fix his hair now.

[Purple & Green]

Nisbet hooked

He looks raging

[Wull1955]

Nisbet off, shame he was hopeless,

[Forzahibs]

Nisbet off, shame he was hopeless,

very poor

[baggageandfibs]

Williams looks decent, maybe a bit lightweight but he’s done well

[Hammi]

Great strike

Mulligan starting to find his feet in this style, just doesn't look convinced in himself when he hits the box.

[Forzahibs]

excellent from Newell again

[Purple & Green]

Blocking our own shots
