Everyone else's kits seem to be leaking.

We're on for our 150th year, so obviously going to see something for that

Do we think that'll be a full kit for the season, or a one off for 1 weekend through the season?

3 strips at least.

What colours we thinking for the second and third kit?
What would you like to see?
Old badge, current badge?

We must be about due a yellow kit are we not? Haven’t had one for a while. Always a fan of a black Hibs kit too. I’d like to see us with an anniversary kit for the whole season rather than just a weekend. Something that reflects our first ever strip which I believe was all white with a harp

I remember a time where strips were all made of cotton until the fashionable silky strips came onto the scene.

I wonder if we could go back to a cotton strip for next season?

A plain green top,
White shorts,
Green socks with white band around the top.

I don’t normally buy replicas strips but I’d defo consider buying something along those lines.

Home kit very first white Hibs strip with original Hibs crest for one-off centenary season and the current official club crest on back where the current Thistle / football logo sits. Away kit our normal home kit but with same one-off centenary badge arrangement.

Will be surprised if that happens as I think the Thistle/Harp logo they've been trialling on their social media and elsewhere will be the furthest they're prepared to go in moving away from our current crest which btw I'm totally happy with. I would however like to see our original crest used for 25/26.

Quite right Smurf, consulting the support is and should be more than a PR exercise, we need to treat our Anniversary with just and proper respect, dignity and exposure. For a kit I would like a strip that reflects 150 years and acknowledges our achievements.

You would sweat like a Jambo in a swing park.

The harpthistle thing is an abortion of a badge, I hope not.

Did we not have a member who was brilliant at strip design? Owen was it?

Does anyone actually dislike the original harp?
Never heard a bad word said in my 50 years at ER. The Gold Harp and Hibernian FC written under would be my preferred badge instead of the current one. The current badge is a massive improvement from the saturn style shocker mind you. But a Gold Harp on a traditional Pat Stanton strip would sell I would reckon.

Given all you’re talking about is occasionally putting a strip out with a harp rather than the current badge, I don’t see the big deal to be honest.

But not the horrendous prickly plucker badge.

These highlight a dilemma for the folk doing a 150th special kit. Our early kits are either a bit plain in the case of the white one - especially if they use that pishy harpy thistle thing instead of a proper badge as above - or potentially controversial. Personally I'd be happy with the hoops, not least to troll Celtic as it's another thing they lifted from us - but from previous threads I believe many others wouldn't want it.

I wonder how they'll thread this needle. I expect plain green but would myself be happy with a premium quality and classic nae-faff rendering of our white sleeves and with a harp badge.

I don't generally buy kits but am intending to buy this one unless they fuck it up. Fingers crossed

The problem with hoops is that the rest of the world views them as the Celtc strip and no amount of historical evidence will change anyone’s mind. The Hibs strip is a green body with white sleeves which distinguishes us the world over.
That’s the basics of it anyhoo
