Put a link up for it, I'm sure she'll get a lot more "offers" if more people know where it is. :hmmm

Well thats me fecked, my limit is only 6207

The tickets clearly state that they are not to be sold above face value, can the League and ebay not do something about this?

I don't mind them being sold higher for charity or even a few bob to cover cost of getting the tickets but some people are making hundreds of pounds out of this. An absolute disgrace. Mr Crowther, stop checking who is using what pictures and get to grips by chasing these paracites. Any season ticket holder doing this should be stopped from getting future tickets, they are giving the rest of us a bad name.:red:

Crowthers so far up his own erky that he doesnt have a clue whats going on in the real world.:coffee:

tin hat on here but why ruin these auctions for genuine ticketless Hibs fans who are trying to win them and get to the game?

I know the people flogging them are lowlife parasites, but let them know that through e-mail, not ruining a long distance Hibs fan that perhaps couldn't get a ticket over the phone or online Sunday last chances of going to Hampden.

The sellers name, Shaun Cassidy??, ticket numbers, G5 - A112 & 113, and e-mail addy are now being passed onto the club.

Hopefully they can trace who this person is and deal with them accordingly.

I made a bid, which I have no intentions of paying(top bid at the moment of 510) and asked the seller to send me a pic of said tickets. They did, and they clearly show the numbers, so the ticket office will be able to trace the tickets and rap the fecker. Maybe even withdraw their ST, if they hold one.

I've got my tickets. I'm lucky in that I can afford to buy two season tickets. As the club let me have 4 tickets I am using 3 for myself and my girls and have given the spare to a neighbour who could'nt get a ticket. I could have made a couple of hundred quid or do the right thing. Like many bouncers who have helped out people all around the world I'd like to think I did the right thing. I don't support the Hibs to make money, although I am up on Ladbrooks so far this season :smug:

Well done Gunner, hope it brings a result.

really hope that some action is taken about this, can,t understand why some so called hibby would want to rip off a fellow hibee, hang your head in shame, good job gunner!

well done for doing the right thing :applause:

i cant see why everybody is getting their knickers in a twist
if people are daft enough to buy tickets on ebay then thats their lookout all this means now is someone who wants to go cant buy i ticket
well done indeed

The guy, or burd, could easily have returned them to the club, if they were surplus to their requirements, and got his money back. The club, in turn, would then have offered them to a Hibby on their waiting list(and there's a long list) at face value.
Alternatively, He could easily have passed them onto a mate that did'nt get tickets, he could also have done this at a profit and no one would've been any the wiser.
But instead he has chosen to blatantly sell them on e-bay for as much money as he can get, knowing full well it will be a Hibby that buys them, thus ripping off a fellow supporter.
We hear complaints all the time about people buying tickets to punt on for massive profits and its doing genuine fans out of a chance to get tickets for big games such as sundays final, well when the chance comes to prevent this happening we must do something about it.
It may well be that the guy selling them is not the guy who bought them from the club, they may have been passed onto him, but the person that did buy them from the club could find themselves in serious shit as regards future purchases.
Because I do this on a regular basis, buy tickets for lots of others, I definitely want to see this selling them on e-bay shit stamped out. I'd have serious "discussions" with anyone who had flogged on any tickets I had bought from the club on their behalf.

Yes but for face value

Check the back of your ticket :thumbgrin

Conditions:
This ticket is issued subject to the following conditions:-
a, It shall not be resold for more than its face value.

These feckers should be ashamed of themselves, tring to make a quick buck off the back of fellow Hibs fans, if they are actually Hibs fans theirselves. I'm going to stick a bid in the now.....

You seem to be missing the point mate,If scum like that didnt buy tickets in the first place the one's who you claim are "daft enough" wouldn't have to go through e-bay.The could get them through the club like everyone else for face value.
If it comes out that these folk are season ticket holders I would ban them for life for setting foot in Er again.:tuttut:

That sums it up well GH.

Great post GH.....I'd be ashamed to call myself a Hibee if i was doing what these feckers are doing its a disgrace and some poor person on the waiting list whos a real Hibee could get the chance to get a ticket if these erses didn't sell them for 20 times the price...they are all greedy shites and should all be reported to Hibs!!!

There's more than "Hibee babe" ripping off the fans, there's a difference in making a profit and profiteering!

Im absolutely raging at the moment. just finished my exam and went walk abouts in heriot watt to get a drink and type up an essay. what did i see on one of the noticeboards? hibs tickets for sale row d 4 tickets 300 ono! fucking scum bag. so ive walked around and torn down everyone i could find. if that prick wants money for them then take them back to the fecking ticket office. its actually ruined my day and the buzz i had building.

Although I fully agree with the sentiment being expressed here It does make me laugh that if these persons had committed some other offence, rather than trying to make money on tickets, how quickly would people have tried to identify them and pass that information onto the police and risk being labeled a grass?

Anyone looking for tickets could try getting in contact with other clubs supporters clubs, ive heard they get a few tickets off the sfa, just a thought likes:dunno: also the scottish football museum might have a few.

No, its the Scottish Cup that hands out briefs for all the clubs. I don't think there are similar arrangements in place for the CIS Cup.

Incidentally, thanks to the remarkable fuddery at the SPL in re-arranging the Sellic game for the same day as the Cup Final, the top echelons of the CIS are incandescent. The gullible fools thought that pumping loadsa dosh in would guarantee them an exclusive Cup Final Day for max publicity.
It is unlikely that CIS will renew their present sponsorship in the light of the shoddy treatment from the SPL Buffoons.

Well done Gunner. Anyone else that sees any on e-bay and the such should do the same. These arseholes aren't Hibs supporters and have no conscience for Hibees missing out on the final. Sadly it's all too common now with other teams as well. Sign of the culture that's out there sad to say :tuttut:

It's a bit harsh if CIS hold the SFL responsible for the misdemeanours of the SPL. Not a lot the Scottish League could do about this.

Top marks Gunner:dub14:

I'm sure I heard something about someone getting a ticket through the Celtic supporters club

I kind of agree with this. These guys who are putting tickets on ebay are definitely twats and deserve some kind of punishment, but all these auctions being messed up by fake bids is just going to lead to fans missing out and empty seats at hampden. why not just let hibs deal with it, and let people who are willing to bid 300 or whatever get on with it.

1 minute left and top bid is 201 - i hope he/she is left with the tickets.

Sadly there are a few others trying the same idea on Ebay just now - I wish someone had the time to expose them all for what they are. I have contacted a couple of them and told them what I think of them.

EDIT: Received one reply in which the seller claimed that living 40 miles from Edinburgh prevented them from sending/taking the tickets back to ER. He/she also apologised if anyone had been offended and promised not to do it again, as he/she did not realise it was illegal.

Moving a potential SPL title game to clash with the CIS cup final to infuriate the SFL and annoy the CIS sponsors was exactly why Celtic game was reaaranged

It wasn't an accident but a cynical and deliberate move as there is a power struggle going on at the moment in Scottish football to create an SPL 2 and finally cast adrift the East Stirlings, Brechin City's and Montrose's of the football world.

The SPL don't want the CIS money, they want to control this event themselves and bring in their own sponsor as soon as possible and the report that was produced last week castigating the salary and structure of the SFL was just another nail in their coffin.

On topic though please don't hit the ticket touts to hard:wink: as I am a more than willing buyer who is quite happy to pay over the top prices on EBAY or to touts for any game which I haven't got a ticket for and wish to attend.

I don't feel ripped off or cheated and am quite happy to meet the law of supply and demand and if anyone gets a UEFA Cup final or Champions League final ticket in the ballot then just send me a pm.

In theory whoever wins on Sunday might be the last ever true League Cup winner. If (though unlikely) the SPL2 plans go through there will be an SPL Cup next season instead. Possibly with groups stages for the clubs not playing in Europe as a Preliminary Round. Because playing Hamilton, Airdrie and Inverness CT with winner progressing is going to make such an exciting 3 games for us at Hibs for instance...

This is the reason CIS are not renewing (which is exactly what the SPL want) because they don't want to be left with a copy of the Challenge Cup. Pearse Flynn and Co have it all worked out, the SFL almost had a sponsor (a big drinks firm) until Flynn and Airdrie chairman launched their SPL2 idea supposedly on the presumption that the SFL were no where near getting a sponsor. While the PKF report highlighted some factors (secretary wage) it was also strewn with major errors.

The SFA should have ruled no league matches on same day as any national cup final.

So in the future only those that can pay inflated prices can watch games? Aye, we'll end up like the top premership clubs in England where the average age of supporters is in the 40's. No kids, no youth, no future.:tuttut: :tuttut: :tuttut:

I have 8 season tickets, 4 for me my son and daughter and my auld faither in law, in the famous five.

I also have 4 season tickets in the Edinburgh suite through my business.

Therefore I collected 16 briefs, I also made sure all tickets went to Hibees who do not have season tickets all at face value.

I am all for people making money, however to fleece fellow Hibees in this way is a disgrace!!

:banger:

Very true , quite a few hypocrites here me thinks .
Perhaps the person aint a Hibby but thought he could make a good few quid , if i had extras and needed the money i'd do it . People paying over the odds are basically fleecing themselves

i wonder if people who post on here will adopt the same attitude to people who have a spare ticket and are trying to sell it outside hampden :hmmm

Someone who is a professional tout is just trying to make a living. They make that living out of ripping people off imo, so can expect any of their attempts to do that ruined by ordinary fans who find them despicable.

Someone who is a Hibs fan ripping off their fellow supporters is just a complete scumbag imo. Any of their auctions should be ruined as well.

If someone has a genuine reason for wanting to sell a ticket, they can sell it on E-Bay with a buy it now option for face value, or even with a bit of a mark up to cover booking fees, paypal charges etc. I don't think anyone would object to that.
