The guy, or burd, could easily have returned them to the club, if they were surplus to their requirements, and got his money back. The club, in turn, would then have offered them to a Hibby on their waiting list(and there's a long list) at face value.
Alternatively, He could easily have passed them onto a mate that did'nt get tickets, he could also have done this at a profit and no one would've been any the wiser.
But instead he has chosen to blatantly sell them on e-bay for as much money as he can get, knowing full well it will be a Hibby that buys them, thus ripping off a fellow supporter.
We hear complaints all the time about people buying tickets to punt on for massive profits and its doing genuine fans out of a chance to get tickets for big games such as sundays final, well when the chance comes to prevent this happening we must do something about it.
It may well be that the guy selling them is not the guy who bought them from the club, they may have been passed onto him, but the person that did buy them from the club could find themselves in serious shit as regards future purchases.
Because I do this on a regular basis, buy tickets for lots of others, I definitely want to see this selling them on e-bay shit stamped out. I'd have serious "discussions" with anyone who had flogged on any tickets I had bought from the club on their behalf.
