Has my Club died?

It’s not died - it’s just resting.
Thank God. I was starting to think it was an ex-Club. 🥺

Was it more surreptitiously, sorta masonic type?

I don't think it's dying, but it certainly needs a bit of doctoring.

Beyond my skills I'm afraid.
Least he makes it to the bogs to pee.

We'll beat Aberdeen at the weekend, nowhere near dead.

Unless we're all gone, Hibs won't die.
Dunno what Hibs will look like, but we're Hibs.

I still think there's time for Ron to get it right.
He's been outrageously nieve about what it takes to run a successful club and he's learning lessons from it.

I said ages ago that we had written this season off, they better hope and pray we stay up, but they're looking at next season.
I didn't expect to have no team left this season mind you, but the DoF always had a full rebuild on their hands and it's not changed.
We just need to stay up in the process.

I think it’s just stunned.

I think it’s just stunned.
its total lack of goals against the perverts was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk

It's pining for the fjord's

What the fuck? 😂
It's a Norwegian Blue, surely? 🤔

Players getting punted out either on loan or permanent deals.
The ones left all falling out with each other.
Club owner gone AWOL and incommunicado.
Nobody being signed during a transfer window when the team is crying out for half decent players.
I could go on but……
I’m starting to wonder if we’re about to go bust.

Nah we are going through a tough time and it's a complete and utter shambles on the pitch but the club will still be alive and here long after Ron Gordon's packed up and went back to Peru. Things change pretty quickly in football.

They certainly can. Just takes a bit more luck with injuries and two or three decent signings and the sun comes out.

I've been wondering about this because I seem to be experiencing the "7 stages of Grief" (normally associated with bereavement) in relation to Hibs, after 60 years of highs and lows:
Stage 1: Shock and denial. Characterised by disbelief, panic, nausea, vomiting, difficulty sleeping.
Stage 2: Pain and Guilt. May feel physical. Could I have done something?
Stage 3: Anger - resentment towards the person responsible. Even anger towards the loved one.
Stage 4: Depression, reflection, loneliness. Feelings of hopelessness and confusion.
Stage 5: The Upward Turn. Less pain and sadness- more normality.
Stage 6: Reconstruction and working through.
Stage 7: Acceptance.
I reckon I've reached stage 4.
Don't want to proceed to Stage 7.
Is the Club deid?
Should I seek help?
Yes

Fuck off you.

I never wanted to sit on your knee, and it would never have happened.

Lucky it was just sit.

Yesterday's performance does suggest that my rumours of Hibs demise have been greatly exaggerated.
But on the morning after the night before, I feel the dread already setting in. @Green juventine talks about Back to Reality at Dingwall. Getting 3 points off the Staggies on a wet windy Tuesday night in the arse end of nowhere may be a bigger test than that abject Sheep team, I fear. Let's pray that the faithful who trail up there aren't let down.
🙏🙏🙏

Yesterday is supposed to make you look forward to Dingwall.

You're only as good as your last game, and we were good 😁
Hopefully an addition or 2 by then, and definitely by EoP Tuesday night.

Both teams had good wins yesterday and will be full of confidence and rightly so. I won't be going but I hope the faithful that do have a better experience than past visits. 💚

BBC weather forecast now talking 70 to 90 mph winds possible up there Tuesday night! If the match is on, it'll certainly be a night for the long ball game. 😱
Stay safe, Hibbies.

On my day off in Edinburgh next month I may well be popping down Easter Road to at least the clubshop once again..... At least I will see the stadium for the first time in 6 or 7 years! :grinning-smiley-045:

If I hadn't seen the stadium in 6 or 7 years and was in Edinburgh there's no way I'd not be there.

It was a response to an earlier post after the Hearts game that I was not feeling the love for the walk down from Princes Street.

I have a full free day and want to do the National Museum as well. Of course I will probably find the club shop closed on the day I am there!

But the weather earning for high winds on the same BBC page runs from 8 pm to next morning. 🤔 The chart on the BBC TV forecast looked horrible.

Haha yes that's actually happened to me. Lots to revisit in Edinburgh if you've been away. Whatever, enjoy your day.

I’ll wear my lead boots. It’s Harry McKirdy I fear for. Blown across the moray firth and out into the North Sea, never to ride his skateboard again.

This is when that crafty shark's fin stabiliser on his heid comes into its own. He'll be fine. 🛹🦈

Weather forecasts are pretty accurate up for the next 24 hours, 24 - 48 hours accuracy drops considerably.

From memory it’s something to do with 3 weather fronts converging on Britain. Very different to other parts of the world where they can predict much longer out and with more accuracy.

There’s a story about a super computer which was built to help the predict the weather and was lauded as it was 70% accurate. Until someone pointed out “tomorrows weather will be like todays” was also 70% accurate.

Harry might be the guy to find Rockys ball from the hoof into the sea at Arbroath last year?
