It was obvious before a ball was kicked that they wouldn't win the league and once the Champions League draw was made they were a certainty to finish bottom.

They then moved on two of their best players for £30 million. Aribo was a great player and they miss him badly.

Without knowing the details all I can comment on is what I have seen.
GVB got a massive chunk of money out of Rangers for a years work so the employer was the real loser.
