No sure,it’s an iffy one with only club employees etc being allowed inside stadiums.came to watch his bro play?
He will be getting tested with rest of squad if he’s training with them so probs came along for the ride and to watch a live game of football. Although he may have impressed whilst training enough to earn a contractNo sure,it’s an iffy one with only club employees etc being allowed inside stadiums.
And wearing the teams gear - top and mask at least. Maybe training with the team allows him a freebie bus trip and a set of training kit ?? Seems odd he was there tbhYou wouldn’t travel with the team if just training though surely
I suggested Stephen McGinn a while ago.
Not a signing that would excite many and i'm not saying it will happen, but I do think if he did sign he would give us good experience and leadership in the middle of the park.
He knows this league well, and he was Jack Ross's captain at St Mirren when they won promotion back to the top league.
Certainly bossed his younger brother about in fixtures against St.Mirren. Granted that was a couple of years ago now.
If he offers something different to the squad (we could be a bit light on the heavy lifting duties should Newell or Gogic pick up injuries or suspensions) then I’m all for it. A bit of midfield experience for back up (especially with 9 subs) at what would likely be at a good value is a consideration.
Am I being pulled in by the fact that both his brothers have been proper committed grafters and wanting it to happen to complete the set for the wrong reasons? - probably.
No knowledge here - Jack and the teams call on that one.
His brother has proved to be a good signing.I suggested Stephen McGinn a while ago.

for some reason that reminded me of Margaret cheering on Pat McGinlay fi the North StandMcGinnernian....
Part of the backroom staff as a favour for use of the facilities apparently. Feeding information through a mic from a higher vantage point in the stadium for JR and Co like Roger was doing last season.
Jack Ross has heaped praise on a McGinn brother for Hibs' perfect start
The former Buddies captain is volunteering as part of the Hibs backroom staff and providing insight from a high vantage pointwww.edinburghlive.co.uk

Sounds like a handy guy to have around, especially if he can turn out when required occasionally (if getting signed) and not grumble about not playing. Cheap too - he's free ... at the momentJR has a lot of trust in Stephen then that’s good enough for me, welcome to Hibs.
Seems more of a coaching role as he mentions back room staff.
