Tv series

I enjoyed it. Apart from the cover of Love will tear us apart. It must be the most murdered song in history.

I did think the final episode was much slower paced than the first four. A lot of locations I recognized, the ferry terminal in Gourock and the sheriff court in paisley.

Homeland has been good this season, much better than some of the previous meandering seasons.

Picard was great and bizarre in equal measures.

I've restarted watching blakes 7 from the start. Its weird watching stuff from 40 years ago. I suppose it would have been like watching stuff from the 1940s in 1980. I want to put orac sounds on my phone now.

I cant convince my wife to watch Killing Eve 3, so I may do that on my own.

Has anyone seen Save Me or Save Me Too? I think that might be next on my list.
Seen Save me which was very good, while its fiction some of it must be based on things that have happened, took me a while to.get ovet the scene where they auctioned a.14yr old girl.

Watched Hunters today, excellent.

Gangs of London is meant to be decent, will watch during the week.

On season the of The Wire, glad I stuck with it this time... "What the fuck did I do"

Started Gangs of London - enjoying it, quite violent

Also just watched Save Me and Save Me Too - both vg

Afterlife 2nd series was great too - crying and laughing

On series 4 of the Last Kingdom. Magic.

After Life on Netflix. Ricky Gervais and a few familiar faces. Just starting the 2nd series. Really good ?

2episodes watched and it's looking good

Just finished the new series of Better Call Saul. This show just keeps getting better and better. I think I prefer it to Breaking Bad now. Both shows are great but Jimmy and Kim are superb complex characters who are far more relatable than Walt and Skyler for my money. Lalo is a great villian too.

Watched that ages ago and Cannae mind what series , is this recent?

Yes, just came back on Netflix, not BBC2.

I've only just started Breaking Bad :lookaround: hardly watch TV to be fair

Watch that later, cheers?

Totally agree, it's really taken off in the last season or 2 with the Salamanca storyline. Can't help but feel things aren't going to end well for Kim or Nacho, purely because we're now fast approaching the BB timeline where neither character appear? Mike is a great character too.

I dropped BCS after 3 or 4 episodes, might give it another try after my jaunt with the Vikings.

For four seasons I kept thinking about how Jimmy's antics might end up killing/scaring off Kim, but now I reckon she is going to be the architect of her own downfall. I'm thinking jail time. She's a brilliantly written character.

Nacho is definitely in deep shit though.

It's paced exactly how BB was, slow but all the better for it. You really get to know everyone involved. It's all set up for a pretty action packed finale now.

Fauda Series 3 just dropped into Netflix last week. About Israeli Defence Force infiltrating Palestinian areas attempting to get intelligence/bump off folk etc. Some flaws with it, but it’s brought a Palestinian narrative to an audience that (as far as I know) hasn’t been done before. Worth a punt

It's worth persevering with 100%. First couple of seasons are a little slow but it gains momentum! I would also now rate it higher than Breaking Bad

BCS is definitely a slow burner, I gave up with it initially too, but went back to it and enjoying it now.

Finished Ozark last night. Good ending to S3 but that annoying cnut of a brother arriving late into the series wasn’t the best.

Deutschland 83 is the next new one to be started and will continue with Power S4 and Money Heist S3. Fukn love lockdown ?

Deutschland 86 had them shift to Africa....not as good as 83 but still enjoyable

Homeland finale was good. Finally subbed to Disney for the Mandalorian and Rise of Skywalker.

Me and youngest are enjoying Mandalorian.

I liked the first two series of this and have enjoyed the third as well. You're right about the flaws - like quite often characters seem to do completely nonsensical things just to set up the next big set piece - but it's definitely exciting.

Won't be up everyone's street but I've been enjoying the escapism of Community all over again on Netflix. Semi-surreal sitcom about a group of mainly mature students at a community college, I've probably mentioned it before, people who like stuff like Brooklyn 99 will maybe enjoy it.

where did you watch that?
its on Hulu in the USA - not sure about over there

On series 4 of the Last Kingdom. Magic.
Watched , was decent. Now on the hunt for something else.

Finished all five seasons of The Wire.... "Sheeeeeit". Good show, good ending too.

Return To Real Kashmir FC - BBC Scotland tonight sweary and good

Just watched the first 5 episodes of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, loved it!

Last Dance is superb. Was big into basketball in the late 80s/90s, Michael Jordan was so far ahead of every other player it’s like nothing else seen, until Tiger Woods

Finished save me season 1, found it a really hard watch because of the subject matter. Some great characters, but some pointless ones too.

Thought it was excellent, the ending was not what I expected - series two is more of the same and well worth watching

Quite enjoying Brassic on Sky 1

White Lines decent.
