Hibs manager John Hughes is interested in signing former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller.
However, Hughes insists the 28-year-old is just one of a number of free agents he is keeping an eye on.
“Liam Miller certainly fits the bill, with his age and with the clubs he’s played for,” said Hughes.
“If players are out there and I feel they can enhance the squad then I’ll put it to the board and hopefully we can attract one or two.”
The Republic of Ireland international started his career at Celtic before switching to Old Trafford in 2004.
Miller struggled to make an impact with Manchester United and moved on to Sunderland for a three-year stint before joining QPR in January.
The Londoners decided against offering him new terms at the end of last season, leaving him searching for a new club.
