Yogi interested in Liam Miller
Hibs gaffer John Hughes admitted his interest in signing former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller.
28-year-old Miller is currently without a club after he was released by Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season.
Hughes insists Liam is just one of a number of free agents he is keeping an eye on.
Hughes said: “Liam Miller certainly fits the bill, with his age and with the clubs he’s played for,” said Hughes.
“If players are out there and I feel they can enhance the squad then I’ll put it to the board and hopefully we can attract one or two.”
The Republic of Ireland international started his career at Celtic before switching to Old Trafford in 2004.
Miller struggled to make an impact with Manchester United and moved to Sunderland for three-years before joining QPR in January.
The Londoners decided against offering him new terms at the end of last season, leaving him searching for a new club.
Other players rumoured to be on the gaffers “list” include ex Hearts player Rudi Skacel, German international Moritz Volz, and former Hibs midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin, who came on as a substitute for Celtic last night in their 1-0 win against Cork City in a friendly.
