Steps down from Real. The boy has got class for sure.
BIG G

Trying to think of another individual in the game who has gone from being a world class player (possibly the best in the world in his era) to being probably the best manager in the world. I know Real Madrid are incredibly wealthy but even so he has been phenomenal there.
40 odd games as the manager of RMs wee team and around 150 big team games.
Probably couldn't happen anywhere else.
Remind me how many domestic trophies the Puta Blancas have won under his management?

I get your point.
I wonder how much RM really care about their national scene compared to their international standing in Europe and beyond?
I'm sure they'd not be unhappy to win domestic honours but their brand is surely international.
I went to both stadia last year for their tours. They both focus more on CL than domestic trophies.
Even in Spain their rivalry is on the international stage.
And we used to complain about our Scottish duopoly lol
Perhaps we should raise our sights and complain at a European level!
He’s won more European trophies as a manager than Guardiola, Mourinho & Ferguson and done it in consecutive seasons. Unreal.
Has Ferguson not won more?
Three at Man United and one at Aberdeen
Two at Aberdeen, counting the Super Cup.
