    Springsteen at Wembley Arena

There are very few things in this life of mine that I would sacrifice seeing a Hibs victory for, but being at a Bruce Springsteen concert is most definately one of them. The Boss was at his usual awesome best at Wembley Arena on Saturday night, and his 16 piece band were incredible. Nobody comes close to Springsteen past or present IMO. You could say i'm a fan, Saturday was the 11th time I have seen him live in concert over the last 21 years.

Still the greatest. May you go on forever Bruce !

The Boss is amazing!! I've never seen him live but was tempted to go over to Amsterdam to see him on The Rising tour a few years ago, really wish I had now. Is it true he's playing Glastonbury next year? I'd love to see him and the E Street band do a scottish gig. Not sure if they've ever done one before. I know Bruce played the Playhouse solo in the nineties...

Not sure about Glastonbury, although I have heard rumours that he will be playing there along with the Seeger Sessions Band who are his current backing band on the last album and on this tour. Bruce hasn't played in Scotland since 1996 when he did a solo acoustic gig at the Playhouse (which was amazing), and the E Street band have not played a Scottish show with him since 1981 ( didn't manage to get a ticket for that one).

It's a bit of a bugbear with me that he never seems to play in Scotland now which means the fanatics like me have to travel to England, Ireland, Europe, or wherever to see him. It's worth it though. If (and it's a big if) Bruce and the E Street Band play another tour again, go and see them. You won't regret it.

No. Stevie VZ is the guitarist with Bruce's usual band the E Street Band.

The band he is currently touring with is called the Seeger Sessions Band and they are more of a folk-rock band with violinists, horn sections, and just about everything else. It made for some sound.

    Re: Springsteen at Wembley Arena

A mate of mine and I are putting on a Bruce Springsteen tribute band "Born to Run" sometime next May, most likely at either Cabaret Voltaire or the Cirus Club. Details to follow!!
