    Slivka

Watched the game on the tele and thought he was outstanding today. I think next season will be a big year for him and expect to see him starting if Dylan and McGinn both leave. A good preseason under his belt and expect big things from him. I'd be tempted to give him a year extension on his contract now. Don't want another situation with him having a blinding season and one year left.

From my view up in the FF Upper, I'd have given him MOTM. He fought for a more significant role today and won.

I was impressed with Slivka today - here is a good footballer, strong

I can't recall him checking back too much but the game was so fast....

I'd have Slivka in the starting 11 before we start looking for replacements for the other spots.

Looking forward to seeing him more regularly next season in our new midfield. Thought he had a great game today. Not a wide player though IMO.

He needs a good run of games under his belt. He holds the ball up well and is strong but you can see he's a bit rusty with his passing and crossing. Pre season will hopefully benefit him. I'm not really sure what his best position is in midfield.

I have a feeling he is going to be a major player for us next year. We have not seen the best of him yet, and I reckon he still needs a consistent run of games to get used to the pace. But he has been asked to play various positions to facilitate our regular midfield, has clear technical ability (the two goals against the hun and ceptic were different class) and has delivered massively in a few huge games.

Also wish Big Dave the very best in whatever career path he chooses, including outside football.

I'm sure I read an interview with him recently saying his best position is the "number 8 role" as he sees himself being a box to box midfielder. Would definitely like to see more of him in that role, he's wasted out wide.

Him, Allen and A N Other. ( I'd move Lewis into holding mid) Even Swanson. Loss of McGinn and Dylan will be big but we seem to have a long term strategy.

That’s the funny thing, up until Sunday he’d played wide a few times in a four and was fairly anonymous, but then as a wing back on Sunday he was phenomenal. An interesting problem to have, could be in a 4 he has a tendency to drift inside but when played as a five is forced to stay wider.

He’s a lot quicker than he looks, extremely powerful and will be a real asset next year I reckon.

I concur - he had the Huns on he rack. He is strong and a clever footballer. Real shame we only saw glimpses this season. Will be interesting to see how he does against clogger teams like Hamilton Accies. That day I don't think as a team we checked back enough, but still excited to see more of Slivka next season

I think he'll be one of our central midfielders next year.
