    On your todd

As a 24 year old man who has grown up in West Lothian I have found myself in the situation that all my friends/acquaintances are Huns/celtc supporters. And regularly attend the games myself. Had one pal who was a hibby but seems my ex got him in the break up 3 years ago due to him knowing her first. Anyway I'm a bit tipsy and I digress. Anyone else regularly attend games on their own? Its just no the same is it?

I quite often go on my own - I do have old mates who are Hibees (honest) - some who are season ticket holders. We do sometimes meet before or after the game to catch up as I live down south now. They’re not going today as they were friends of Scott Hutchison and aren’t in the mood.

Quite often I just go on my own - it’s fine. I actually visited every away ground on my own over two years when we were in the championship as the atmosphere at ER could be pretty bad. More often than not folk would ken I was on my own and chat. We’re all family after all.

I shall go and skull a pint in Robbie’s when I get off this train (which I share with full Burberry clad orcs whistling their full repertoire). I will wander up to ER and get into my seat just in time to see the display then enjoy watching what I fully suspect to be Dylan and Super’s swan song for the club. I’ve also got a funny feeling we might not see Sir David Gray play for us again. I sincerely hope I’m wrong.

Get yourself to the Harp and Castle on match days and get to meet the great guys that drink in there and post on here. You'll soon be bale to go along with them to games mate. Too late for this season. I often went to the pub but sat on my own at the game. I just talk to whoever is sitting next to me in that instance.

I often go on my own but invariably end up in tow with one hibby or another. I find you watch the game closer on your own.

Definitely. I don’t drink so much either when I’m on my own.

Ah yes, I remember your previous incarnation bro. Burned bridges can be rebuilt though mate. You were going through some issues at the time but people can be more forgiving than might seem obvious. Go in and just say "I'm sorry I was a $#@!. Let's start again". It's worth a try.

I've done it a couple of times for the same reason. I moved away and when I got back to Scotland most of the folk I used to with have either chucked it after settling down or moved away themselves.

I can usually manage to drag the wife or brother-in-law along and meet up with @Uncy when he makes his jaunts north. I'm in Robbies myself waiting on everyone's favourite Yorkshireman just now as it haoprns.

I do mate as I come up from North Yorkshire on my Todd, I actually don’t mind as I’m happy just to see the Hibs. Next season though I’ve talked ma cousin into a Season Ticket, he can be a right moaning basa but I suppose I’ll enjoy the company.
