Devastated getting beat by that shower. We were poor though a loss was harsh deserved a draw.

Just seen the replay Naismith was offside at his goal

Laffertiti MotM my arse dirty b*stard. He'll have f*cked off by next season.

I guess if there is any consolation, Celtic are the only team to have won at Tynie all season.

A team who had absolutely nothing to play for outfought a team who had everything to play for.
Two out of our three worst performances of the season have been at Tynecastle. We so rarely win there.
Poor team selection but the players just didn't perform when we needed them to.
Hearts might be an inferior team to Hibs but they are very strong at home. We needed to match their fight from he start and failed completely to do so.

Losing a derby is hard to take but in the cold light of day we have had a great season and will finish fourth which is considerably better than I and many other Hibs fans thought we would do. A European place beckons as well as long as Celtic win the Scottish Cup. We have a solid base to build on for next season and tonight's disappointment shouldn't cloud what has been a remarkable return to the top league.

Hibs are standing on the brink of history...
They've only gone and done it..
They've only gone and won The Scottish Cup.

Brutal refereeing aside, Lennon got that wrong. McGeouch should have starred in midfield, and Maclaren should have started upfront. We played into their hands, we knew we’d get nothing off the ref, but we still went into that game far too negatively.
Is Bartley fit? Thought he'd have started over Whittaker in what was always going to be a physical game. Don't know why Lenny started with both Barker and Boyle since the Tynie pitch is so narrow.

I'd have gone with Marciano, Ambrose, Hanlon, McGregor, Stevenson, Bartley, McGeouch, McGinn, Allan, Maclaren & Kamberi

Well Craig Thomson won’t be spoiling any more of our games, but jeez, we really got it wrong tonight.

Hard to be critical after an amazing season tho’

McGeouch McGinn and Allan don’t score a lot of goals - taking out someone who does Maclaren for someone who doesn’t Barker was a risky move. IMHO

Lack of goals from midfield still a big problem for us despite having some wonderfully creative players in that area of the team.
My heart sank when I saw Boyle and Barker in the starting line-up. Two wingers at Tynecastle was just playing into their hands.
In any derby match, particularly on their patch, you have to win the physical battle in the middle of the park first before you can think about winning the game.

Another thing. Scott Allan is a very gifted footballer. However he is no grafter and he doesn't like the physical stuff. He wants the ball to his feet all the time and is not prepared to work for it. He also wants too much time on the ball. I suppose he would be playing at a far higher level than Hibs if he was able to do all of that as well as show his great attributes as an exciting attacking midfielder.

I’m absolutely scunnered. It’s going to be hard to get up for Sunday, but we have to. Might be the last time we see some of these guys. Let themselves down tonight though.

I had a bet on with a Hun at work that we would finish above Rangers this season.

The forfeit - £20 and a photo in your derby rivals top to be circulated around the company social media groups.

So, unless we win 6-0 on Sunday, I'm £20 lighter and being slapped on Facebook in a Hearts top.

    Bollocks!

    It's nearly time

Gutted. Levein knew we’d come flying out the traps and they played to disrupt our game. We should have started more patiently and concentrated on nullifying any threats. If McGeough wasn’t starting Bartley should have played. Their early goal was a bonus.

Hearing Lennon said he is considering his position at the end of the season.

My bet with hun in my work not quite so bad, only a tenner but got a text from him about 30 seconds after final whistle last night, "mind yer tenner tomorrow". Arsehole.
