    Good to see.

He might not be the best penalty taker in the world, but I think he has been superb since he arrived in January. Great at finding space in the box, he pulls defences all over the place with his movement and he can certainly score goals in the penalty box. Such players win you football matches. I have said for a while he reminds me of Kenny Miller when he was younger in that respect. I would really like to see him back next season along with Kamberi, however it is out of Hibs hands. If his parent club want to keep him then that's it. His wages will also be a big factor in his next move.

Good, hopefully gives him a lift to get over his two misses at the weekend.
We wanna be free, we wanna be free to do what we wanna do, and we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time... That's what we're gonna do

Just had a look at the German Leagues ............. his parent club are unbeaten in 10, and the rumour that he'd be a free agent on relegation seems to be neither here nor there now.
If his club want to let him go then no doubt they will be looking for a decent fee, and he will be looking for a decent wedge too.
I can see Kamberi leading the attack next season, but I'm doubting very much that McLaren will be partnering him.

I'd expect another 'new face' as Simon Murray hasn't really shown well for his boyhood heros and Ollie needs to be introduced rather than thrown right in.

I hope we can sign Kamberi on a permanent deal. If we can't get McLaren then IMO we need a similar type to come in. I actually think we need four strikers competing for striker places so Kamberi, Shaw and two others for me. I wouldn't be against Murray returning and being the fourth striker. Maybe Lewis Allan is ready to make the step up ?

Simon Murray is a very good Championship player. He's not at our level.

    Just scored for Dundee.

Darmstadt manager quoted in local press there that McLaren has been told when to report back for training. Paper spin is that the decision has been made that he will return there.

    A lot can change.....

As he is a Darmstadt player he has to return back there for pre-season training just as Simon Murray will be expected to return to East mains when Hibs pre-season training begins. I'm sure Hibs will be in talks at the moment with his club and his agent to see if there is any hope of securing him on a permanent deal, but it all comes down to money. If there is interest and offers from wealthier clubs we just have to reluctantly move on to other targets who are similar to Jamie Mac

I'm more worried about retaining Flo. Think he is the big difference maker up front

Flo and Jamie have been our best strike partnership for quite a time. Hoping we can get them both back. Have the feeling we'll perhaps get one.

Failing that I think Simon Murray could still maybe do a job. Not as bad as some are making him out to be. Always gave 110% effort for Hibs and scored 14 goals. Some really good goals too. Just needs to work on his sharpness.

I thought Murray was pretty good for us, he just couldn't play in the same team as Stokes.

I also think Kamberi is the most important guy to retain. Before Murray suffered his confidence collapse, he caused defences a hell of a lot of problems with his pace & pressing & scored some very good goals. I'd like to think he could come back and start afresh next season.

    Not even close?

Murray is more like an inexperienced McLaren. Kamberi us a big strong battler. With surprisingly good footwork.

I too think Murray could play off of Flo, but he's probably not the right guy for a starting pick.
